Thats interesting. I'll run that by them. I'm on 12.3 (2023.44.30.25) so the FSD would be a step back but the update would be a later version. When you say it is not necessary, do you mean the center horn and camera button works without upgrading?

My SC told me they would replace my yoke as soon as there is a software update for cars with FSD. Has anyone here with FSD gotten the replacement yoke?

Yes. That is in the drivers side footwell. I used it to power my dashcam so I ran it up the A pillar and across the top of the windshield. It should be easy to run it from one side of the dash to the other.

I used this power tap (white connector in photo) in my 21 Plaid. As I recall it was for towing/trailer equipment. I think it went away after a while but if it is in your harness it is perfect.

At this point it is still not fixed. I assume that the -C part is in the latest cars but that is only a partial fix.

It helps but is not a cure. It looks like the other steps are also necessary for a lasting fix.

Recirculate would probably help keep water out of the filter. I just leave my car on fresh air intake all the time. Which probably explains why I have the musty smell.

The updated part has certainly helped with my car. A diversion dam and hydrophobic filter will also help. I still suggest starting with the updated Tesla part.

I would think that if the airflow opening is on the opposite side it would help a lot. Throw in a 90° turn for the airflow and it would be even better. Most of the water would drop out of the airflow.

The difficult half of the new housing assembly looks to be identical to the original. Not worth the considerable effort to replace it for me. The changes appear to all be in the front half which is easy to replace. So far, so good with no smell returning.

That is what they did with mine. Both filters were replaced even though I only asked for the hepa filter. The part number 1750575-00-C is the entire assembly - filter and housing.

Mine was apparently ordered as P/N 1750575-00-C and came as the entire assembly (front and rear of enclosure and the filter). I kept the original rear of the enclosure in the car since it was the hardest to replace and was the same as the new one.

Whose lights were installed? Tesla? EVOffer? Which car were they installed on? How well do they work?

It seems that changing the cabin filter helps a little but the problem is actually in the hepa filter. A new cabin filter just masks it for a little while.

I assume you can’t make a service request but can you send service a message in the app? Worst case you could go to Libertyville again. Ultra red would be tough to match. I don’t think I would want a touch up or local repaint.

We think alike. I drop off donuts and or bagels once in a while. I always bring them when I go in for service.
