It's mostly empty streets but it takes me about I don't know 8 minutes just to get to my car from my office I'm pretty sure it's 3 miles let me check my map
GPS says 9 minutes
But I actually drive the speed limit at 30 lol
Okay you can see the drive is only like 10 minutes give or take
I would still love to know what the hell magical combination of categories I apparently fall into
Because the insurance is treating me like I'm a street racer and a serial felon and a bank robber
And I go to destruction car derbies on the weekends
I'm definitely not saying California doesn't suck for certain things My annual renewal at the DMV was like 700 something dollars It was absolutely stupid
I mean long story short Tesla is still the best option for me I just don't really like it lol
I'm just pissin an moaning because I don't like it
I have a doctor's appointment for the car on the 8th so we will see what my out of warranty model 3 sensor array is going to cost me to fix for the...
Sounds like Nationwide IS on my side
I'LL GET A QUOTE AND THEN POST IT HERE AGAIN SHOWING A BILLION DOLLARS
(I was not aware talk to text could be capitalized That's interesting)
Yeah but look at the screenshot of the breakdown of the days of the month and one day has 130 one day has 121 day has blah blah
And since everything is averaged
I averaged a safety score of 0 for those days
A safety score of 0 seven days
out of 30 days drags me down on average
And it's 14...
There should definitely be a process in place to adjust the automatic insurance rate thing when it's obviously sensor problems and bad reporting from the car itself
There's no way in hell I'm getting a forward collision warning every 8 seconds and the system should know that that's erroneous...
You want to quote that one?
The line you're referring to says I was quoted $150 but now because of the safety score I'm paying $210
I don't care what I used to pay half a country away
I care about what I was quoted and what is rapidly ballooning
I never said I was concerned about what I was paying before
Someone asked.
As we drive down this road I'm sure in the future hellscape you'll get charged for driving when it's raining
Because statistically a lot more accidents happen when the weather is poor
Long story short it's still the cheapest option which is pissing me off it's a pill I have to swallow.
I am upset about the variable rate that can be screwed up by bad sensors
Which you have zero way to fight or have rectified
call the insurance and tell em you have a bad sensor, and they say...
That's what I'm saying!
I've never been in an accident I've never had a ticket hell I've never even been pulled over before
I'm almost 40 years old I've been driving for like 20 years this bs makes no sense to me
I signed up in California
and I called in, to transfer in Texas
I was never made aware of a variable rate because it didn't exist in California
If memory serves I think I was paying 120 a month out in California with no safety score BS
Yes
But more so that I was quoted one number and never told that this number could cut itself in half or triple itself
And one factor that is literally costing me hundreds of dollars is a bad sensor telling the system I'm having 130 forward collision warnings in 19 minutes on a 3-mile drive...
I have no choice when Teslas bullshit is the cheapest
I'm halfway incentivized just to drive like a complete asshole because I'm already paying for the complete asshole driver price
I leave for work at 1:30 p.m.
I arrive at work roughly 1:45 p.m.
I get off work at 10:00 p.m.
I arrived home at 10:19 p.m.
Quote unquote late night driving is 50% of my entire mileage
Which maxes out The quote unquote driving after 10:00 metric
Which reduces my safety score by 10 points
And...
Even $210 a month for a whopping hundred miles a month is a cheaper quote from any other place I've ever tried.....
I can't remember which company it was It might have been Geico They even wanted $900 a month
What kind of crazy bull is that
I'm livid
Coming from California moved to Texas
Changed my insurance over
They quoted me $150 a month
Now I'm expected to pay $210 a month because of the safety score
I literally pay more than $2 per mile to drive my Tesla
My entire commute is 2.7 mi to and from work
five times a week
Other...
Ive had the car since December 2020 when i drove it off the lot at 5 mi on the odometer
Its (I'm hoping) just a grungy almost 3 years worth of my back on the seat
Definitely did not happen overnight
No butt cheeks have sat in this chair except my own, and the service technician's, from time to time.
I'm going to try to scrape it off with my pocket knife and see if it is really just a bunch of grody T-shirt and skin material
Or if it actually is the seat
I really don't know how to describe it but the seat where my middle back rests against the chair is like degenerating and melting? And it leaves a horrible stain on my T-shirts even
Heck,
I just drove to work
Sat in the car with everything off except the tablet
i was playing on my phone and in a half hour i lost 4 miles 2020 model3 awd
Before work I pull into my local charger next to a Taco Bell
I watched a mobile technician from some random company change this other guys 12 volt
but he never disconnected the 400 volt and I stopped and asked him about it and he says it's "recommended" not "required"
What could happen ?
YES
samsung s20 ultra 5g
i almost got in a fight with my dad over sending me stupid texts and my dickish response to what i thought he had said.
when in fact he hadn't texted me at all
i got mine as a "new inventory" car, and when i went for pick up the odometer read FIVE miles,
the only ass that has Graced that seat has been my own, my fathers (like once lol) and the repair techs
no increase of top speed, still limited to 145mph
just an increase of HP which drops 0-60 time by about 0.5
(mine was like 4.2-4.3 to 3.75-3.80)
makes you wonder if its all software,
just how much more do they have left in em that is being held back ?
