Is there any evidence that shows changing your order after you’ve made a reservation resets your place in line? I’ve gone from performance to LR, back to performance. Original reservation date was 10/23. Settled on performance for the second time on 11/19. Just curious.

It's most likely because they are trying to push sales as high as possible before the end of the quarter. For me being located in CA, I will most likely take delivery towards the EOY because I live so close to the Fremont Factory. Tesla will try and ship their cars farther first and then deliver...

The thing about FSD that made me hesitate is the possibility that if something happens to my car, it has to be purchased again for the replacement vehicle. It really should be attached to the owners account.
