No. Software updates haven't affected it at all. Service centers (4 different ones) say its normal.

Ive compared it with others from the same year. The sounds are much fainter in others compared to mine. Service advisor at the third SC said it would drive him crazy too, during our test drive. After the car was passed to tech, and I spoke with the service manager, they are denying the advisor...

Have you done that before? Is the goal for them to lemon/buy-back, or to just draw attention to the situation?

2 months old. It’s a morse code like noise created by the drive unit whining.

What’s NPR?

Checked everything online. Went to two service centers with screenshots. They told me to F off. My car beeps like morse Code, it doesn’t whine consistently.

Has anyone dried sound deadening / dynamatting their Tesla to eliminate the annoying sounds from their drive unit/inverter? If so, did it work?

Prior to this weekend, icon would disappear when the passenger seat is unoccupied. The two photos I shared of friends also do not have a permanent airbag icon showing if the passenger seat is unoccupied. So to answer your question, I think it’s supposed to disappear.

Two of my friends’ model Xs do not show the icon when passenger seat is unoccupied. Mine also did not show it previous to my SRS warning.

My point is that when no one is in the passenger seat, the icon is still showing.

Does anyone else’s passenger airbag icon remain on their screen, even when there is no passenger or weight on the passenger seat? Over the weekend, I received a SRS fault notification, and noticed that the airbag icon showed up on the right corner of the screen. It definitely was not like this...
