Anything showing up on the permit front yet?

Looks like the Tesla Supercharging site shows this as having a Q1 2022 completion. But I still don’t have any idea where it will be, so curious if anyone has any details?

So it seems like resetting and driving a super slow and safe 100 miles is the way to go. Seems like they rolled out to 98’s for a day or two and then stopped.

Any update?

I’m in the same boat. Sustained 98 for over a month and nothing. It seems easier to reset the whole thing, drive 100 miles very carefully and will likely get beta. 🤦🏻

Seems like people will want the Cybertruck even more now that we may have to wait a bit longer.

I charged there on 7/27/21 and the back 4 Suprchargers were offline and still not working. Does it usually take a couple of months for defective Superchargers to be fixed?

This seems reasonable.~400 mile usable range for the dual motor will likely be sufficient for the majority of camping or other similar off grid / remote needs.

Anyone charge here recently? Planning a trip in the next couple of weeks, so want to make sure Forks SC is up and running.

Going to stop at the Entiat charger soon. Still wish Winthrop had a SC. Had to wait for a couple of hours to get a charge at a local spot, so not ideal when visiting this area. From an exploration perspective, super quick charging is ideal. Not complaining… just saying. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, this would be great! I’ve submitted Winthrop as a recommended Supercharger location to Tesla. I know slower chargers exist in the area, but even a smaller (~6 stall) Supercharger would be great. Any update on potential consideration by Tesla?

I wouldn’t be surprised if they make the dual and triple motor models first and MAYBE make the single motor at some point. The single motor seems pretty pointless for a vehicle like this.

I’ll keep my 2021 M3 LR AWD and will probably sell/trade in my wife’s Chevy for a Cybertruck.

I had the same exact side to side movement issue in my 2021 Model 3 and after some back and forth with Tesla Service they replaced the entire steering column. Seems like this is an issue in both the Model 3 and Y.

UPDATE: I ended up having the issue looked at by a mobile ranger who agreed it needed to be looked at in the shop. I took the car into a local Tesla shop, they looked at it and said the issue exists, but they had to get some guidance from their internal Engineering team. A couple of weeks later...

I have the 2021 LR M3.

What’s the miles per hour charge improvement one could expect to see with the corded mobile connector? I get 33mph charge rate with the charger I received with my Model 3.

And to add to this question, how long have you been driving? As in how many years?

The movement is something you can feel. There’s a sort of thud type of sound, but the movement would be very difficult to see.

Forgot to ask.. are you ok with the steering column having any play in at all? I’m going to have a very difficult time accepting it if they end up not fixing it if they declare it “within tolerance.”

I don’t expect FSD to go on sale (I already have that BTW), but simply was wondering about Acceleration Boost.

I haven’t had any type of noise or knocking at any part of the turning radius. Glad to hear they’re willing to replace the part(s) as needed. I’ve just never had this type of issue. Not even on really crappy old cars I’ve had. Seems like this shouldn’t be an issue that passes QC.

After some back and fourth e-mails with the Winthrop Town Planner, it seems some sort of signature campaign or similar effort is the next best step we the Tesla community can do to show support for a Supercharger in Winthrop. Anyone have a suggestion for the best way to kick off this effort...

I did reach out to the Winthrop Town Planner and basically got the same info. Seems like we need to find a way to approach Tesla again with this suggestion, but with maybe some added signatures or something to give it more weight.

Any update on this rumor? Since nothing new has appeared on the Tesla SC map, I imagine this may still be a couple years away.

I think I saw someone mention on Twitter that Elon said they would provide a menu sizing option in a future update. Seems to me like this new layout is similar to the FSD beta layout, which likely means FSD beta is going to be released to a wider user base (maybe everyone with the correct HW) soon.

A few weeks ago I submitted to Tesla the Winthrop / Twisp area as a suggested Supercharger location to better support the RT20 from the west route. I hope if Tesla sees enough people asking, they’ll make the area a priority.

Smart move on Tesla’s part. Car people tend to like cars that go fast. Wait until more of them discover how fast Tesla’s are. Besides, people who store cars at the shop need daily drivers too.

RT 99 is notorious for wandering up to no goods. Not sure I’d want to stop there at night. None the less, it’s good to see another Supercharger south of Seattle.
