Basic cruise control stopped after update to 2020.36.16

I've recently updated from an old firmware version to 2020.36.16 and the basic cruise control in my pre-AP 2014 S85 has stopped working. It was fine before the update. Nothing happens when I move the cruise stalk when driving. It's like the car no longer has cruise fitted. The cruise stalk is...

DIY DAB retrofit to early Model S?

I was a bit surprised to find that my 2014 Model S doesn't have a DAB radio. I thought that all European S had it, but obviously not. Has anyone retrofitted DAB to their S, if so what do I need to buy. I can change the gw config if necessary.

Cabin pre-heat without the app on v8.1

I'm stuck with firmware v8.1 and I'm happy with that as it means I don't have the batterygate issues etc. But that means that I don't have access to the app. I charge at work, so it's not plugged in when outside my house overnight. It's cold here at the moment and I want the car pre-heated...

    Locked in Valet mode :-(

Got a bit of a problem! I recently bought a Model S with a battery pack issue and repaired it, car now fully functional with no errors. It's 'unsupported' by Tesla and running old 2018 V8.1 firmware so the app doesn't work. I accidentally put it in valet mode while refitting the MCU and I...

    App disabled on V8 fw?

I've repaired a Model S that has 2018 firmware V8.0. The car works fine but I can't get a connection with the app, always gives me the 'connection error' message. I've seen rumours, but can anyone confirm that Tesla have definitely now disabled app access on pre-2019 firmware vehicles? If so...

    Battery Pack cover/lid removal

I'm repairing my MS battery pack. I need to replace a module that has failed and the car is 'unsupported' by Tesla, so not covered under the 8 year battery warranty. Any tips on softening and removing the adhesive sealant on the cover/lid so that it can be re-used and sealed again?
