I don't know when it changed but the NEVI map is showing the Aston site as "In Progress".

    Supercharger - Meadville, PA

I was told that there may be some announcements in April but as this is a government thing I won't hold my breath. Also, I don't know if Tesla has their solution figured out that can meet the PA NEVI requirements.

    Supercharger - Meadville, PA

As a NEVI project it is on the conditional approval list but has not been given the final sign offs and notice to proceed.

Supercharger - Akron, OH (location speculation)

Not seeing any evidence that anything has started.

    Supercharger - North Canton, OH

I see that they are running wires now. Cabinets and switchgear installed but no transformer, meter, or dispensers.
  10. Blue Stuff

Supercharger - Ashland, OH - Enterprise Parkway

Looks like it is functional. Note Tesla is calling it a Holiday Inn instead of Wingate. @Big Earl @Crew Dragon @corywright
  11. Blue Stuff

    Supercharger - Bridgeville, PA

It was not on the maps but the site is powered up and I was able to charge successfully.
  12. Blue Stuff

Supercharger - Pittsburgh, PA - Park Manor Blvd

The units are covered up with traffic cones blocking off the spaces. Otherwise it looks like all of the Tesla equipment is installed along with two transformers and switchgear. The meter itself is missing along with a couple of light poles. Some good news is that there are two garbage cans.
  13. Blue Stuff

    Supercharger - Bridgeville, PA

I stopped there today. Everything is still covered up but I do see that a meter was installed.
  14. Blue Stuff

    Supercharger - Bridgeville, PA

Fences are gone but covers still on. The meter box is installed but no electric meter.
  15. Blue Stuff

    Supercharger - Avon, OH (speculation)

Sheetz is also deploying CCS so that would be more likely than a Tesla install. Also strange that OHIO NEVI is mostly ignoring I-90. Avon does have a Pilot station with eVgo CCS @350KW so the area is technically already covered.

Road problems that could confuse FSD...

Tesla still doesn't understand basic traffic signs so no use getting others fixed. I have problems everywhere there are speed limit signs that state "END" - Tesla ignores it and sets the speed to the sign anyway, sometimes slamming on the brakes as it missed the first sign.
  17. Blue Stuff

    Supercharger - Bridgeville, PA

The transformer is installed. The site still needs the distribution cabinet and meter.
  18. Blue Stuff

    Supercharger - Clearfield, PA

I stopped there today and saw that the meter is installed and powered up. Tesla can turn the site on any day now.

    Supercharger - Monroeville, PA

The meter for the Tesla chargers is installed and has power. However the six spaces are blocked by cones as it appears that they are waiting for the two GetGo Energy chargers to finish their installation. I can confirm that each GetGo charger has one CCS1 and one CHAdeMO cable. Their...

Refresh Model S charge port doesn't open with button on wall/mobile charger

I had the issue and found that if I had the handle about 1/2" from the door the button would work there so it was a range issue. I opened a ticket and they replaced the part.

No Magic Dock. GetGo rolled these out in Ohio with CCS1 and CHAdeMO: GetGo unveils proprietary EV charging program and use a BTC charger. An older variant of Gen2 200, 350 Amp Dispenser - BTC Power

Supercharger - Washington, DC - Idaho Avenue

I thought they used that style cable cover/handle for handicap stalls.

Tesla replaced my yoke with an updated version today. 👌

Thanks for the snippet. It is strange that they listed an older version of the yoke. The 1622612-00-H variant is what is showing current in the catalog and what others have had installed.
  27. Blue Stuff

Tesla replaced my yoke with an updated version today. 👌

Could you share the part number from the invoice?
  28. Blue Stuff

    Supercharger - Dansville, NY

This needs a meter and power but everything else on the Tesla side is done as the fencing is gone.
  29. Blue Stuff

    Supercharger - Clearfield, PA

This site still needs a transformer.

    Mid-Atlantic Superchargers (speculation, discussion)

Onvo Dorrance got money from a 2021 program for the existing chargers - Article Viewer. I would assume NEVI funding for the site is for additional chargers.

    Mid-Atlantic Superchargers (speculation, discussion)

I didn't notice this before but for the Pennsylvania NEVI it looks like actual construction with this money cannot start until the very end of the year. Whatever Tesla is doing now (e.g. Monroeville) is without the money. "Only costs incurred after Grant Agreement execution are eligible for...

    Ohio NEVI awards

I see the list of awardees from last month doesn't list Tesla. Pennsylvania had a bunch so what's different about Ohio? https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/OHIOGOVERNOR/2023/07/13/file_attachments/2553414/2023-07-12_NEVI_Round_1_Summaries.pdf

    Breezewood, PA - Breezewood Ave

Since they are calling it a "hub" does that mean something special? $254K seems awfully low for more than a basic setup - only a bit more than the other Tesla sites in PA listed in the program. Guessing that someone is planning on taking over the old Wendy's and would give some spots for...

    Mid-Atlantic Superchargers (speculation, discussion)

A great amount of info there, thanks! Looking at the data, Tesla is on the low end ($200K) per site while TA is $1M. With that I wonder if TA is planning on a lot more chargers per site with Tesla going with their 8 or 12 standard?

Refreshed Model S - rear seat rattle

Multiple visits to fix a single issue is the norm. Keep bringing it back until it is fixed. When they give up you start over at a different service center. It's the Tesla way.
  42. Blue Stuff

    Supercharger - Monroeville, PA

Pedestals installed. Still waiting for a transformer but new power pole is there.
