Supercharger - North Canton, OH

Noticed on the Tesla website that a North Canton, Ohio supercharger is planned for Q2 2023. Patiently waiting as someone who frequently travels between Canton and Columbus.

If you guys find any info on this supercharger or see any progress please update this thread!

I'm hoping this charger will be at least 150kW, currently the fastest charging you can get in the entire Akron/Canton area is 62kW and you need the CCS1 adapter. Having a supercharger here would vastly improve charging in the area as well as commuting on I-77, I-76, and US-30.

Pretty safe bet it'll be a V3 (250kW). They don't really install anything else these days.

With timing of next year, it could even be a V4.

I'll keep you posted as much as possible. This would be really helpful for me too. I was talking to MarcoRP about it a little last year on Twitter. I didn't realize we didn't have a thread started here. It'll be great having one in the area, especially for people traveling for the Hall of Fame and other things.

When I was around town a couple weeks ago, I didn’t see anything yet.
I wonder if it’s delayed at all because of the issues they’re having with the turnpike ones they had to redo a bunch of work on. Not sure if you saw those threads, but it’s been a mess for Glacier Hills and Mahoning Valley plazas in New Springfield.

I did see this on PlugShare yesterday. I didn’t verify the source, but the location makes sense. I’ll try getting more info soon.

Thanks! My urgency is lower now as i saw they activated 10 V3s in New Philadelphia about a week ago.

I found some flags and one paint marking on the ground. They outline 8 spots which makes sense for a prefab install. Not much room for transformers though. But I did see some flags across the entrance so maybe they could put them there or that’s just for the power coming in.
Not sure this is anything but wanted to share. The turnpike Superchargers started like this.
