okay the error message is back! after having disappeared for a few days. im calling the tire shop to find out what they say - but its a 3rd party shop...so im expecting disappointment and probably blame on Tesla.

no it didn't. the only thing that worked was a power off of the system, wait for 3 or so minutes, and open the door. the message finally disappeared. holding down the 2 wheel buttons also did not work.

does anyone know if both buyer / seller must be present at pickup? i have reservation for model y at 68k but am thinking of rescinding it.

Hi, I replaced both rear tires (stock) with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and I still have the warning of rear tire uneven tread depth. I drove it for like 50 miles and the warning disappeared for a week. And now its back. How is this even possible, and how to remove this warning?

ok a follow up - VOICE to TEXT does not work anymore on iphone. Outside of the car, from 10 feet away and more, it works. But open Messages app and try the mic and it doesn't work. So this solution isn't viable.

that last link had the workaround and it worked perfectly - On iPhone: Settings, Bluetooth, touch the little blue i icon beside the connection named for your Tesla, change the Device Type drop-down to Speaker (mine was at Car Stereo by default). Thanks a ton for posting this!
