Finally got my VIN! Day one January 2021 order. Details in my signature. 7SAXCBE5XNF350xxx Delivery June 26-30

Still no VIN. But I did just get the trade in call from a Fremont number. At first I couldn’t tell if it was a robo call or a human but then I realized he was just bad at reading from the script. Anyways, does anyone recall how long it took them after getting the trade in call to getting a VIN?

This gives me hope! I have the same configuration and I ordered a couple months before you in Socal. Still no vin yet. My EDD is June 28 - July 19. Would be nice if I could get it by the end of this month too.

Just another data point. I ordered launch day January 27, 2021 and my date range is now June 23-August 4. I hope that rumor about matrix headlights in July is true!

My guess for the retrofit would be tilting display or horn button in center of yoke.

Does anybody know if there are interior colors that are getting vins faster? I remember with the Model S ramp last year they had trouble with white interiors and people who switched to black were getting vins soon after that. Now I feel like white and cream interiors are all getting the vins...

I hope that lot never fills back up. Hopefully this means they are close to done with the Plaid backlog since Jan 2022 plaid orders are starting to get EDD’s. Maybe once there are Plaids in inventory they will start producing LR’s again!

Maybe just maybe these January EDD’s don’t mean anything and when they finally update everyone after November 1st, we will see our first delivery date ranges. One more week people.

Model X Refresh spotted in San Jose

From Q1 earnings document: “First deliveries of the new Model S should start very shortly” So no mention of the X. Either that means a delay or it will be coming a month after S deliveries start like the original plan.

Over in the Model S delivery thread people are saying their March delivery dates have been changed to July. My MX LR order still says April, but now I’m wondering if I won’t get it til August. This sucks.

I ordered a 6 seater LRX an hour after the announcement. My account showed “April delivery” today.
