Is the beta button still there?

I don’t want to download if the beta button isn’t available. Is it with this version?

I might have had it. Call me crazy but I can’t wait anymore. Fortunately I have the means to by a new model 3 and sell my S. If I got a new car today would the beta button still be there or are the newer software updates without the beta button?

I’m sure it’s based on availability/region. Score doesn’t seem to have anything to do with it no matter what the website says. There have been people with a score in the 80’s who have gotten invites.

You have to get an invite to get the new cameras. Thst could be anywhere from 2 weeks to 12 months from now. I wouldn’t hold my breath.

I’m curious what you think the time it would take to upgrade all cameras at a service appointment? Also, I’m assuming they can’t do it with a mobile appt because of calibration of the cameras, correct? Thanks for the video, very informative!

Even if they will be, which they won’t as I believe the calibration of installing new cameras is likely going to be needed in-house, you’d still have to make your car available which isn’t easy for everyone especially us with very mobile jobs. Don’t take it so personally, we’re all friends here

Not exactly. As tesla always uses time as a monetary factor when not buying a gas car as opposed to buying an EV, the time it takes to schedule, bring your car to a service center, pick it up is not nothing.

I really don’t think testers should be slowing down to see if it works. If you are controlling the speed that is not FSD in my opinion. If it doesn’t work without u slowing down it doesn’t work no matter how cut it.

I agree good stuff. I do wish he wouldn’t adjust the speed really at all. Also, he rolls through stops signs assuming by pressing the gas. If he is adjusting the speed, etc, is that really self driving? I would think they would want them to not be doing that.

I agree. I’ve gotten more than 1 ticket/pulled over for similar stops. Not ideal.

Never could get a hold of anyone there. No one even returns your phone calls. What a joke of a service center. As tesla owners do we have any other options? I worry about taking it somewhere else but anywhere that returns your phone calls?

I was wondering if it were ok to hit the teslafi api every 10 seconds for data and whether that is even neccessary. Is the streaming api of tesla available from teslafi in Json? There's a lot of data there. Just don't want to hit it too many times and get in trouble.

I get how you could think that. What I don’t get is how you don’t understand the ambiguity that arises between promised FSD to HW 2.0 folks while there are differences between the sensors and radar of HW 2.5 folks. If your not confused you’re reading the tea leaves wrong.
