When I got onsite they had you fill out a brief online form basically to show that you were there and ready to pickup the car. Then you went to a different online form that was a checklist that needed to be complete before you could complete delivery. My car was sitting on the lot with my name...

My understanding is that there is a nearby mall where they have space to prep and park the cars. At one point in time they would shuttle you over to the mall to pickup your car. Last I read they now are bringing the cars over to the "main" location. I guess I will find out how it all works...

Weee...pickup is scheduled for Friday afternoon and insurance has been taken care of. I am just waiting for them to request final payment.

Yep. Shows a delivery date of 5/25-5/28 which means it is already in Mt. Kisco. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to schedule pickup for Friday afternoon so I can take the train from Rome to Croton and then Uber over to the store. Going to be quite the adventure...:)

Well, it is Thursday and we are due for the bi-weekly $500 price increase. They probably took the site down to change the price...:)

Mine just updated a couple of hours ago to 1 to 10 weeks for like the 5th time since I ordered. Earlier today it was May 27th to June 15th.

God I hope they haven't changed this. Okay, we are going to give you a delivery time that is meaningless. Then out of the blue we are going to assign you a VIN# and give you 72 hours to pick up your car. Seems like a bad idea to me.

The other thing you can do is simply wait for all the inventory that will come available when people are not capable of taking delivery of the car they ordered. I expect there will be a lot of these when the cars finally arrive on the east coast early to mid June. As long as you are flexible...

Just happy that the Team Blue trailer hitch combo is being made...:)

Because having great customer service is a waste of resources at this point. They can't make enough cars to meet the current demand. Eventually, when they get Texas online and other automakers start putting out a comparable product then resources will have to go to start going to customer service.

The fun part of waiting is my wife test drove a M3P on Saturday and we put in an order for a M3P on Sunday. As of this morning the estimated delivery date for both cars is basically the same, June 3 - 23. Now, this is good news since the EV credit in NY will go from $2000 to $500 if we don't...

Interesting. I have the same car on order but my estimated delivery was two weeks later than yours since I live on the east coast. It is almost like there IS actually a plan in place. I am back to 1 to 10 weeks.

It seems like for the sake of efficiency Tesla does runs of the same vehicle configurations at one time (e.g., 50 blue, bk 5 seater, no tow). I wonder if the "soft VIN #'s" that SA's have talked about is simply being able to see when a specific configuration is set to be manufactured.

My expectation is that the majority of production for the next few weeks are going focused on sending MY's via train to the east coast/eastern middle for June delivery since it takes two to three weeks to get them from the factory, shipped across the country, and into buyers hands. The last...

I am about that same, May 22 - June 11. I am guesstimating a VIN during the 3rd week of May and delivery on the 1st of 2nd week of June.

This is totally conjecture based on analyzing the spreadsheet, but it does seem like there are two different delivery systems. One for people whose cars need to be put on a train (aka east coast and middle of US) and one for those that don't. For the east coast, deliveries to a state or region...

Has the "Tesla Train" left for Chicago yet? I still don't have a VIN and if the train leaves without my car on it I expect it will be June before I see it. In looking at the spreadsheet it seems like Tesla sends their cars in big shipments to the east coast with a significant wait between...
