I took delivery yesterday, built in April, car does have the PPF installed on the rear doors, but not the mudflaps
thanks the pain is realI feel for you right now
Mine was instant but I did it over the phone. Can someone share insight into how soon does DCU approve the Auto loan? I am planning to use DCU approval to get the match from TSLA.
a few years ago I paid like $350 for them to put it right next to panel. That was at a previous house so I need to get it redone in new house.Anyone recently install a NEMA outlet at home for charging? If so, how much did you pay for parts + labor to your electrician?
Mine expired yesterday, 31 days after originally submitting. I entered my updated mileage on in the account portal and submitted it for re-review. Just a few hours before I was assigned a VIN last night, the updated trade in offer came back $400 lower than the original quote. Mind you, my mileage had only increased 63 miles in 31 days. I blew my top. Emailed the used car specialist and voiced my frustration as professionally as I could. He emailed me back this morning and corrected the issue. I accepted the trade in offer, uploaded proof of insurance, completed the payment process and called my SC directly to push (successfully) for a delivery appointment outside of the automated text/email process. Picking up Saturday at 11:30am.Anyone having their trade in expected to expire right now? I'm 31 days after accepting the trade in offer, and there is no email or any website changes telling me to update the trade in yet. I also have a EDD of June 3 - 23 right now. Not sure what's going on and how the timing will play out.

Just got a quote for this one and was quoted $1000 because I'm putting it far from panel since panel is on other side of house from garage. They said copper prices are skyrocketing and the wire alone is like $700
Here’s a useful article about that Senate bill that includes some political context on where this is all going. Therefore, if you owe more than $7,500 in federal taxes in 2021, then taking delivery this year may still get you the original EV tax credit. This is huge news! Of course, it still needs to be passed.
I am actually looking forward to getting my car tomorrow so I can get on with the rest of my life... The obsession is real.Looks like the focus now (configurations aside) are order date (Late March, early april), and the eastern seaboard (basically everything east of Texas' eastern edge). Vehicles getting delivered everywhere, but lots on the east side of the country as I'm seeing people with mid-April and even May order dates in that area get priority over the more western states. Makes sense they'd prioritize deliveries furthest from Fremont to ensure they hit their Q2 numbers.
I realize as a 3/23 order with a 4/12 hold removal date in CO I should be getting my VIN any day now, but this is really killing me. I have no idea why, it's just a cool car and I've done bigger purchases in my life, but I am really having anxiety and trouble concentrating on anything else, and it's driving me crazy seeing these May orders get delivered. Not healthy
that does seem high, I had an electrician come in a few weeks ago to install one in my garage below where the panel is on the outside, new breaker wires and outlet, total cost $450. He mentioned a general lack of parts availability and costs for those parts going up significantly. everyone's feeling a supply crunch.That's...very high. It's incredibly easy to install a NEMA14-50 outlet yourself, the only thing that most people use an electrician for is adding breaks to the box, but the entire process is like...8 minutes. The cost of wire has skyrocketed, but if I wanted to put an outlet right next to my box I doubt it would cost more than like $60 in parts, including beer (enjoyed after playing with electricity, not before).
They provide pre-approval pretty quickly, but people have had difficulty getting a documented pre-approved rate from them to share with Tesla for a rate match. You can ask for a rate match even without documentation, but I've heard of limited success with that. If you have the approved loan after sharing the purchase agreement, they'll send you the documentation pretty quickly (just got my DCU loan paperwork today after getting my purchase agreement and VIN last night). Can someone share insight into how soon does DCU approve the Auto loan? I installed mine myself last year when I got my M3. It was super expensive to have someone come and do it so I did it myself - watched a couple YouTube videos and I was good to go. Has been charging my M3 every day for the last 13 months!Anyone recently install a NEMA outlet at home for charging? If so, how much did you pay for parts + labor to your electrician?
can we start a new, possibly sticky, thread dedicated to the DCU offer or other financing deals? it would likely be helpful on an ongoing basis to connect members with referrals if needed. They provide pre-approval pretty quickly, but people have had difficulty getting a documented pre-approved rate from them to share with Tesla for a rate match. Well, inspections are required here now and I also have solar and had no additional room in my box. If there was space, I would have thought about it but they needed to do some things that I wasn't comfortable with doing myself. I've always worked on my own cars and pretty good around the house but I don't like playing with electricity.That's...very high. Identical build for me minus the tow package. Ordered 4/16 for Devon, PA. Nothing yetI ordered a gray MYLR, 5 seater, FSD, tow package with the darker rims. Has anyone with a similar build received a VIN yet??
I can’t seem to find the spreadsheet people have mentioned. Probably because I am using this on my ph
I'm shocked to hear the prices people pay for electricians, I do all my own work. If you're scared of electricity, shut off the main breaker. It's worth saving $1000.That's...very high.
