I just used the plastidip from dipyourcar. Watched the YouTube videos, ordered the kit, and followed the process. Was pretty easy! For the Dual motor badge, I just bought it online.

I took delivery on Friday, only sat in the car for about an hour and only drove it .8 miles. Drove it straight to the PPF installer around the corner from the delivery center and patiently waiting to get my car back on Tuesday or Wednesday. Doesn't even feel like I own a Model Y yet. 😅

So apparently this is a Texas thing. But they were able to make it work out, only my temporary plates expire in 1 month instead of 2. If I don't receive my registration within a month I just have to contact Tesla to get another temporary plate.

Same boat, only the only car we have at the moment is our minivan. I ordered 3/23 and when I missed the end of 1st quarter deliveries, my buddies who have owned multiple Teslas at this point told me I should probably expect an end of Q2 delivery. They were right.

Yea it’s frustrating to say the least. They originally told me there was a good chance I was going to get a car before the end of March to meet the 1/4 deadline so it’s been really painful to see my dates keep slipping. It is what it is though.

Ordered March 23rd. MYP, White, Black,Tow. Currently May 23-June 9. Each day the first date gets pushed back by a day. At least June 9 is holding for now.

Yea most of the the existing inventory cars seem like demo cars. Only reason I’m staying away is I plan to install PPF on the front end and any car that has a few hundred miles or more on it most likely have rock chips on the front end already. And those stand out like a sore thumb with ppf
