The powerwall has 7KWH and 10KWH options. I've also heard that they are 1/10 of a Model S battery, so I predict there will be an exclusively AWD 100KWH battery coincided with the release of the Model X.
Camouflage such as those patterns does make it hard to see the size of vehicles too, because it allows less depth perception. The vehicle is most likely just seen from a slight angle.
But keep in mind all radical styling isn't like the LEAF. I hope by radically it ends up gorgeous and different in design like the i8 was to other BMWs.
It seems most likely that he is coming from a 3rd party part for the car, and I have no reason to believe that they would show the roof rack company the entire car accurately. Likewise, it seems he knows no better than us whether there will be a 60kwh in the Model X, which ultimately seems...
They could also be testing the majority of the features inside. They have several large empty warehouses, and most of the tests can be conducted inside.
I am almost positive that this will be a new battery which will first appear in the X for it's early August Signature deliveries. But all is still speculation now.
In the wording of the ad they specifically mention Trucks and Crossovers. I believe Audi has had 4G in the A7 for a couple of years. Tesla and Audi won't be able to compete because neither have a truck. Careful wording by Chevy...
Model X rides will probably begin after the first batch of Signatures went out, as like the S. The first time getting behind the wheel may be another 3 months. And Model 3 has yet to be announced officially, so probably 2017, at the point when they get into at least beta models.
At the keynote, Elon definitely said they would put a larger motor in the front of the P85D. I do not know if he was just referring to power, but he made it seem like the motor was unique to the car.
I believe that the increase in AWD efficiency is due to the nature of electric motors. They operate at a specific optimal torque and rpm. With the two motors, it needs significantly less torque and RPM. and uses exponentially less energy. Thus, combining the two energy uses, and gear ratios it...
I don't know if the paint department can handle it, but Tesla should really offer the P85D is a special color like burnt orange like other forum members previously spotted
Wow! Quite a turnout so far!
Our event now has an emmy award winning DJ/MC and many prizes and giveaways including: pf chang's gift cards, car cleaning production, and MUCH MUCH MORE! We have ride and drives from 15 different types of electric cars, the most of any event! Remember, we moved...
I don't know what it was, but in the trunk of Elon's car there was a stamped Tesla logo too, also out of aluminum. Too much fun with the Model X retooling?
Hello,
I am organizing a National Drive Electric Week event in Woodland Hills on Saturday September 20th. Tesla Topanga is going to be bringing one of their gorgeous P85+ to the event to show others. This is the same event committee as last year's Northridge event, just bigger and better. There...
That looks like a Model X to me. It matches the proportions of a crossover much better than a compact sedan. The D Pillar is pretty far back for a sedan of that shape.
I didn't ask compared to the average Joe. Just you compared the Model S to the RS7, not RS7 to P+. I don't mean it as an attack, no doubt the RS7 is a gorgeous and rare car that I don't see enough of compared to stuff like the E63 S.
