An SA told me today that there is a car being manufactured that I’m soft matched to… I’ll believe it when I see the VIN, but that lines up timing wise for the end of my EDD. And I sure as *sugar* feel entitled to a car with all these 115x getting VINs 1147, 4/1, MSM, Cream, 19s, no FSD

Gotta print a lot of paper for a 29bps spread to drive income above your overhead. Guess that’s why they give 125% LTV. Very, very agressive pricing - feels like they’re trying to see if they can blow themselves up.

Will probably arrive in town 6-12 months late

Well, it took 5 calendar days and 3 business days for the loan to get re-approved, and today my EDD switched back to October 08-28. Unclear if the monkey is just drunk again, or if the car I was soft matched to was given to someone paying cash / with updated financing.

Before this Tesla experience, if someone was to tell you that you’d have to beg a company this hard to take your ~$100k, would you have believed them?

Although the difference between now and April is that (some) cars are actually being manufactured whereas back then they were stuck in some prolonged launch delay. Presumably the info now is of marginally higher fidelity, although maybe still useless.

Fingers crossed both of ours are, along with the remaining 2020 folk. I‘ll believe I’m getting a car when my buns are being cooled by the ventilated seats.
