With your date so close I would bet it's there - just needs to be prepped. Either case I would def call them - I called immediately after VIN to nail the delivery time...don't wait on Tesla service.

picking mine up in Richmond on Saturday - just confirmed. Is yours going to be delivered there? if so I can look around and ask them about upcoming deliveries. I've found the Richmond SC to be a pleasant experience.

In VA, at least Richmond, you don't need the insurance info until after you get the VIN...just complete everything else. My SA said same to me and I did (eventually) get a VIN...pick up in RVA Sat.

Richmond has been great...everyone I've spoken to has been extremely helpful. Delivery this Saturday...because of all the stories I've read on here of people losing VIN's at the last second I'm trying not to get too excited. Not succeeding.

Got my vin today too - how did you schedule delivery? Did Tesla or SA reach out? I don't see a way for me to do that in the account yet...

No notification or contact today - just saw the button when opened the account, clicked accept and there was the vin with the new EDD of 7/28-8/3. Yesterday it was 7/30-8/10. Last week it had been as late as 8/25...and I've had September a few times too.

yep - checked my account this morning and had the blue button and VIN assigned. wasn't there yesterday on any of the 25+ times I checked :).

Blue button and Vin received this a.m. - 233*. EDD 7/28 - 8/3 - so I guess it's still in Cali...awaiting contact.

Truth - when I first ordered carmax offered $3k more for my civic type-r than the current offer. Frustrating especially since the SA was "pretty sure" I'd get the car during the EOQ rush. Sucks but really can't blame anyone but myself...should've sold it then and shared transport with my wife...

Been through almost every EDD possible from June to July to August and even September. Currently 7/28 - 8/10...but not counting on it.

5/16 order and my EDD was pushed again - had moved to 7/22-8/5, now 8/5 - 8/25. I know not supposed to pay attention to EDD but that's difficult...actually it's impossible.

may get the castings - those have been seen at Fremont and Texas But 4680’s aren’t in production yet.

Thanks for this! We did test drive a couple of times, and the mach-e once (really didn't like the Ford at all). Didn't experience any phantom braking during the 2 30-40min drives and loved the brief drive, the style and minimalistic interior...but it was locked in chill mode and unfortunately...

I have the same config - ordered 5/16 in Richmond and my dates are July/August. But you order 2+ weeks after and sounds like you're about to get delivery - Tesla logic LOL! Congrats I think that means (from what I've read on other threads) that you'll be getting some messaging for delivery...
