I am still behind trying to catch up and I don’t know if your question has been answered by someone else but I also got my VIN today !!! I went ahead and called Tampa SC, choose 4 for delivery. That’s how I scheduled mine (Saturday!) and the payment button then appeared on my Tesla page.

MY: LR AWD, Blue/White, 5 seat, 19”, no tow, no FSD, ordered 4/11

I drove past the Tampa SC yesterday and didn’t notice any possible new deliveries. I can only hope that for us Tampa folks, our Ys are enroute 🤞🏼🙏

After weeks at “6-10 weeks from order placed date”, it changed to 6/14-6/30 last week. This is my 6th week from order date (4/11). Pick up at Tampa location.

Question: is delivery supposed to be based on order placed date and configuration available only? I am in Florida and need my VIN to get auto insurance so that part of the steps is not completed. Does that affect my delivery schedule?

Regardless of which model he ordered, that definitely is worse! Imagine feeling excitement and elation in finally picking up your much awaited Tesla only to leave hours later empty handed. That sucks! I’d rather be here commiserating with everyone about delays etc than go through that.

Tampa, FL location SA also told me that it was "firmware update" causing the delay but they have the Ys in the lot supposedly. I haven't had the time to drive by.

yes and this is the north florida avenue location in Tampa

I spoke with my SA yesterday and asked about any updates re: delivery delays. He said that they received a delivery of Ys but all are undergoing firmware updates before they can be available for pick up.
