yep same for us too...for like a 2 week period the EDD would move back 1 day at a time, every single day, and then BOOM - VIN, and then a week later schedule delivery

wow, we're almost identical - ordered 14 May and picking up 18 Aug, so 96 days (13 weeks 5 days) by my count, congrats!

just ignore that, the "October" EDD means nothing...I was "September" and "October" multiple days at different points of the process.

I totally agree with you, I'm almost embarrassed at times to tell friends about our Tesla purchase, b/c of the "ohhhh you all are rich" comments...but they drive cars/trucks that are pretty comparable price-wise...I think because all Teslas used to be in the $100K stratosphere that is the stigma.

no I yea def hear ya, my wife used to tease me about how excited I'd get over the EDD's and just roll her eyes...but FWIW we were showing October as well as recent as late July...whatever they quoted you at delivery just go with that and take the later of the two dates

don't waste your time, SA and Tesla chat will just repeat back to you what you already are seeing in your account page, patience is key

Wifey got the magic text today to schedule delivery! Next Wednesday the 18th, it’s been a loooooong 3 months. Hopefully there aren’t any issues.

Tomorrow will mark 12 weeks exactly from order date. We finally got our VIN this past week. EDD is holding at 8/13 - 8/19, so I'm hoping we get the text next week to schedule delivery. Just for reference, we were originally quoted 5-11 weeks, so when we finally take delivery it will be 13-14...

After you get your VIN (yesterday) is there anything I should be doing in the meantime? other than ordering parts

with these Tesla's you have to completely forget about how you think of wear and tear on ICE vehicles, I would just check out the paint/exterior/brakes/tires. Other than that it's essentially new

OMG finally got our VIN tonight!! 244XXX EDD is 8/15-21

I'm really getting fed up with this process...next Saturday the 14th will mark 3 MONTHS from our order date. We were quoted 5-11 weeks at time of order, and 7/30 marked the end of 11 weeks. Sitting here in our 12th week of waiting with no VIN, nothing heard from Tyco SC. I'm going to keep...

so I'm also Tyco VA and my front EDD date is also 8/17 - our OD's are pretty close too! can't wait for this waiting game to be over!

also, for those of you with a July order, I would just get comfortable and settle in for the wait, and stop 14 May order here, hang in there!

my honest advice is to just try not to think about the MY order for 6 weeks, if you haven't heard anything then check back in

First day in over a week and half or so that the EDD didn't move 1 day to the right...hoping for a VIN over the weekend, but not holding my breath

I'm in the exact same boat as you, every day now the EDD slips by 1 day, I'm at 12 Aug now.
