    Supercharger - Surrey, BC - 104 Avenue

Wish you could push for a Supercharger in Campbell River and/or Comox/Courtenay. Tough for Tesla drivers to explore past Nanaimo to the north or west.

Tesla releases big, new software update with Disney+, Car Wash Mode, remain connected to wifi, and more - 2021.24.x

If 2021.4 was April 2021, then 2021.24 means 2022.12 (December 22). I guess my car will be ready for a car wash by then

Tesla opening SC network to other EV's

Not concerned but wish Tesla would produce a CCS1 to Tesla charging adapter. Then those of us who live in areas without Superchargers (yes they exist!) could still road trip with DC fast charging, even at 50KW. If "they" can charge at "our" stations, why not some reciprocity. Come on Elon, an...

AutoPilot should stop at red lights

Thanks for this. Didn't find the "tap the screen" hint in the manual, but will give it a try!

Tow wiring block prevents locking bike rack. Suggestions?

I ended up with a hitch extender and a shorter pin with a rear-facing lock. This ends up with a rather noisy ride, but will try to find some sturdy shims to keep the hitch extender tight in the hole.

AutoPilot should stop at red lights

I have had my MY for a month now, and still trying to figure out what AP (no FSD) will or will not do. The think I am most confused about is how AP/Traffic Aware Cruise Control does not change speed when moving from one speed limit zone to another. It will not speed up when going to a higher...

    Model Y Hitch depth

Yes, same problem with my Swagman bike rack which also uses a threaded pin and snap-on lock. Only answer so far is to shorten the pin and forget the lock, and rely on the spring washer to keep everything tight. Was wondering if anyone has any ideas about relocating the electrical connector. I...

Tow wiring block prevents locking bike rack. Suggestions?

Has anyone tried to relocate the power outlet in the OEM tow hitch "compartment"? I have a bike rack that has to be attached with a screw-in bolt and the power socket gets in the way. If it were set back or to the outside an inch or so, I would be able to attach the keyed lock. As it is the...

    Canada Waiting Room

Looking forward to CR getting a Supercharger. Then we can go from Nanaimo to the rest of the island without too much problem

    Canada Waiting Room

I ordered my MY on May 16 and had a delivery date of June 01-08, until I reminded Tesla Vancouver that, as a Van. Island resident, I was not able to travel until the province lifts its restrictions (June 15). Looks like I am on a new wait list. Tesla hasn't told me to keep my money yet but I...
