Since the module doesn’t really do the latching and the latch is still the Tesla latch, what did you have to do with the module when you had that issue?

Ah I see. Yeah don’t know. The other ones usually have a ground wire connected to the car body in addition to the pigtail from the emergency light. Not sure if that has anything to do with it but I suspect since you’re solely using that button which stays on, that’s why.

Which brand did you install? When I installed mine, I triggered the lock with the frunk open and observed the light shut off. Don’t remember how long but it wasn’t long.

Same here. It’s driving me wild. Don’t even try using the windshield washer. It never stops wiping now. They need to rollback whatever code updated the wipers.

That’s what the sticker says. The one on top is my 2022 MY and the one below is her 2021 MY. Mine says 6 USB ports but I only see 2. Hers says 4 USB ports but they both say lithium ion battery.

For Florida, pick up is usually 2 weeks after VIN. Car has to travel by rail to Alabama and then by truck to service center. They tend to take the full 2 weeks too give or take a day

Oh I was just fussing because she has data port for her front usbs and her arcade has all the games that require controllers while mine does not. Only improvements with mine is the AMD ryzen and 12v battery. Funny thing both stickers on our cars say they both have li-ion 12v battery 🤷🏽‍♂️

Typically, when your EDD narrows, it's a good sign. Means you're moving up the queue. It might fluctuate but as long as you're in a 2 week window, you're getting close. When you see a 3 day window, you should see a VIN within a couple of days if one is not assigned by then.

You should call and get the trade in stuff resolved. If you do it online, it takes up to 3 weeks before they get to it but if you call, they can get it moving same day.

Ah, you have tow. That’s been said to be one of those things that causes shift in EDD. I believe they build tow and 7 seater configs in batches so maybe your order didn’t make the batch for your original EDD. But there’s also been cases where EDD shifts and boom, vin drops so you never know.

I think when you are within a 2 week window, you’re definitely close. I had a month window for like 2 weeks then a 2 week window for a couple weeks then a Vin. It was a similar experience with my wife’s order and my order when I first got a vin. I’m thinking within 2-3 weeks for you.

You’d be surprised how much damages can occur between Fremont and delivery center. People have reported paint scratches, broken windows during transport and other crazier things you’d think would have been caught before leaving the factory.

You can pay in person. Paying upfront simply speeds up the process. They won’t mark the delivery complete till you pay and you won’t be able to access the car via the app till they mark delivery complete. Paying upfront makes all that quicker but not actually necessary.
