That happened to me yesterday- I’m direct from factory so 🤷‍♀️ Still no VIN- SA was out said to reach out to store- store is not answering or returning calls.

Wow - that’s a bad policy unless they replace the vin in a quick manner. But it is not the issue in my case- wasn’t third party.

Pretty much all the inventory are also new enough that they are no radar. Would have to be used vehicle.

if you haven't gotten the text it just sends you to your account. Also- even with the text typing it in just redirected me to the account for whatever reason (I preferred to not schedule on my phone, but ended up having to anyway).

similar situation here- and yes SA can adjust delivery dates by a bit- think it is harder if coming from the factory but they can still do it. From VIN to delivery I was told ~3 days to a week right now.

They give me the name- that’s odd. Recommend you call the showroom near you or the delivery location and tell them your predicament.

I technically have two SA - one from showroom and then one from the online inventory order I put in (two orders, inventory as backup). The online one was assigned to a lady in Nevada - she's great. Found her by asking the chat function who the SA is.

So, as with anything, take with a grain of salt- but it’s exactly the verbiage that I was told at the showroom. Until the profile is complete, won’t be included in queue for car- so complete as fast as you can if you want it soon. That said, Tesla does what Tesla wants to do, so who knows...

Did you have it set to cash then? If not your profile didn’t finish until then and you’re in the queue from that point, not original day.

My EDD just moved back a day - first time I saw it change this late in the day. Usually it’s first thing in the morning. But at least the range shrunk by a day. 🤷‍♀️

It may work or you may have to reapply. If your SA moves the vin to the one with financing it should keep original financing, but any difference in price will be cash not financed.

Your SA might be able to add to your account- my tesla financing transferred vehicles.

Hah- this is basically what the sales dude in the showroom said. He meant last couple of weeks of the quarter but pretty close. Basically when I was in there a couple of weeks ago he said there was no chance I'd get anything before end of September.

You could use the chat function on the website to request a new SA.

yes- there is a button for you to remove FSD once it's reserved.

Second this- even though I can't see a good date on my end (have a weeks range), the SA was able to say it looked like June XX when I'd get a VIN. She even punted the delivery day for the inventory vehicle I reserved as back up out another 3 days to give me the maximum time I could get to wait...
