Yes - this should work - I just completed everything today and take delivery tomorrow but felt like I cut it too close. The key is that when you apply for the DCU auto loan you have to stay on them to go through approval. I called two days after applying and that’s when they approved me over...

I’m on the west coast and have found waiting for the VIN was too late - DCU has been slower than expected with crazy phone wait times - and Tesla rate match as been close. 1 week on west coast is not enough… wish I started a bit earlier…

How’d you convince them to eventually match you after they originally denied because to term (65 vs 72) mismatch?

Just see if they can get close on a 72 month - what are you trying to have then match?

I got pulled over on the 405 freeway once for not having a front license plate, huge pain in the ass fixit ticket - only cost $25 but took 3-4 hours of doing stuff at the court house and having an officer sign off etc… just to avoid that hassle I will likely get one in the front

I think it could be a very long time before anything is refreshes get added, one thing I’ve learned with Tesla is to quadruple any timeline they provide you…

Very interesting development to report, I just had another change in my date range which has never happened mid day before. And now reads August 7 to August 18 - did you experience the same? This was the 10 to 11 day range I was mentioning, I’m trying not to get my hopes up…

The gap is getting smaller - I’ve generally noticed people getting VINs when the gap is 10-11 days - fingers crossed for you/us!

Why run an EDD calc when they litterally have no idea - I’ve had everything from June to October, disappear, reappear, dates just a few days out and everything in between. December is honestly a good guess for almost any model Y right now because - wouldn’t surprise me if I’m still waiting for...

As someone that missed EOQ2 (June 30) and was promised that date - I wouldn’t trust any estimate. And now it feels like I could easily be pushed to EOQ3 although my EDD right now is aug6-19

Aug 6-Aug 19 - 1 day push on the front end, same back end date. Someone please tell me this is going to be over soon…

MYP and FSD and fully loaded

He had MYP and FSD as well as a couple more upgrades - so and 80+k spec. That’s likely why someone in LA got there late july order while the rest of us are twiddling our thumbs

Same - but 8/5 - 8/19 - we continue to track each other closely. At least we didn’t get the dreaded “October” yesterday (knock on wood).

I think this proves that they give priority to MYP and FSD - congrats on the vin!
