CA Waiting Room

Original order date was 7/22, then changed MYLR to MYP on 8/8. EDD shows 7-8 weeks. For the waiting room sig, is the appropriate date 7/22 or 8/8?

Order date: 07/22 -- MYP | Pearl White | Black Interior | FSD
VIN Received: not yet | EDD: 7-8 weeks
I was told if I switched my LR to Performance on 8/5 it would be 6-8 weeks from 8/5. Which would have the same EDD of 9/18-9/30. So I kept my LR order of 6/30 instead.

My Buddy was driving down from Northern California to his home in SoCal and saw this transport truck coming down from NoCal. Hopefully some of us will get our cars!

So I don’t know where to ask this without feeling judged. Is anyone nervous about parking their car on the street overnight? I stay with a friend 1 night a week for work. She lives in an apartment complex and I always have to park on the street, sometimes a couple blocks down. It’s not a bad neighborhood but just a lot of apartments. Why am I so nervous?

I’d be nervous as hell! I was scoping out where I can park my car at work! Hoping no one would ding the door. I found a spot with charging that no one ever parks at after weeks of watching it. LOL Probably because it’s the furthest spot by my building.

We got her home today! Received VIN Friday (243xxx) with scheduled home delivery for Tuesday, Aug 10th, but I couldn’t wait after learning the Y was already at the Rocklin SC.

I couldn’t reach anyone by phone so we visited the SC in person. The delivery specialist said they could prepare the car today but to come back in three hours. No problem!

The car looked great! Paint and panel alignments all looked good. Coat hooks opened and closed. Checked all the common issues and everything was good. Quick calculation indicated 100% SoC equates to 329 miles. Only real issue is that two doors require force to close. Set an appointment to get it adjusted later. The other “issue” is more my OCD noticing the rectangle VIN cutout at the base of the windshield appears ripped or torn.

Quickly installed the floor mats, console organizer, and mud flaps. The Basenor mud flaps deserve special mention as they installed easily with a solid and secure fit. They even include clips for extra retention but honestly seemed plenty secure without them (I still used the clips per instructions). Also no issues removing the screw underneath for the rear mud flap installation.
