We took delivery yesterday. Car was flawless other than some smudges that got rubbed out. We had the 217 VIN that was rejected by someone else in here but they fixed all the issues. Can’t wait to get home (I’ve been out of town) and drive it! Our May 16 order still showed an end of August EDD...

I would - that’s what we did. Our inventory car needed to go to the service center and just in case something goes wrong, I didn’t want to lose our reservation. Whichever one we cancel will be out the $100

Have they given you a new date for your repair?

They said there was a dent in the lift gate. They didn’t give me a new VIN, they said it was going to the service center to get fixed and the soonest it could be ready was the 5th

Our car also didn’t pass local inspection, was supposed to be delivered last Thursday and it updated to this Friday. Hoping that’s accurate.

Still keeping an eye on our 5/16 order in case it would arrive before our inventory car. Yesterday said 8/6-8/26 and today EDD disappeared alltogether.

We kept our 5/16 order until the inventory car I got shows up. So I keep checking. Yesterday it was 8/6-8-26, today it’s gone. The California thread got a TON of VINs over the weekend so I’m really surprised we didn’t.

My concern is I pass on the inventory vehicle on the 6th, and then the 13th comes around and I don’t actually get the VIN from our original order.

I would too, but then I’m like man what if the newer VIN was coming a week later?!

I found a 217xxx existing inventory on 7/25. Ordered it, and found out from another member on here it was the exact car he rejected that weekend. My local SA has been telling me the car is now “in inspections” and is held up. I assumed they would have already had it inspected if this other...

I haven’t cancelled our 5/16 order yet, so for what it’s worth, the EDD still shows 7/31-8/20

My SA told me they wouldn’t sell me the car with those issues (not sure if I believe) but if they’re fixed, I’ll take the car. She also said I couldn’t see the car before it was delivered and it was in some holding area awaiting inspection. I don’t personally mind about the HEPA thing.

She said I can’t come see it but can reject the car once they drop it off. So there’s that.

Our VIN is a 217 for the existing inventory car I snagged - when was this most likely built? I don’t care about the bio defense mode.

It’s not an exact configuration - it’s $3500 more than our previous order. I might just go through with my order and cancel his. I think with the more expensive price, we would have to re do financing anyways.

We ordered same config, same date and same location as you. Our Edd is 7/30-8/19 but it’s been early August the last week. Just got bumped today

Pushed back 7/24-8/10. This is the first time ever though the end date stayed the same and didn’t get pushed back. I hope it’s a good sign!
