Sgalla has the same thing. I like this car but I'm not giving them 350 for something that comes standard in a Chevy Malibu. If I find one on the forums cheap I might pick it up but this solution works and costs about $5. :)

I just bought the cheap one from Amazon and it works great. Also, I thought the same thing about the garage door opener but I used double sided tape to attach my garage door remote to the back of the bottom of the control screen. It's hidden and perfect. I can take pics if you're interested...

The real must have accessory is the drawer for the center console which is so necessary it should come standard.
