Homelink install so it has to be at home. But I'm hoping not to sit at home for the four hours and instead make the 30 minute drive home when I know when they are coming. I can make it so I can get home anytime during the window but don't want to be there for three hours when I could be elsewhere.

When you have a mobile service appointment, they give you a four hour window. Do they get back in touch with you on the day of to narrow that down ("we'll be there in 30 minutes") or does it remain a four hour window until they actually show up?

Anyone install a mobile radio (ham, commercial, or public safety) in a Model Y? I see some old posts for a Model 3 and Model S but nothing for a Y. Curious as to where you mounted the radio, control head, and antenna and where you got power.

How many doors can the Homelink be programmed to control? And, for those that have it installed, how does the range compare to a standard garage door remote?

Surface mounted that box myself this past week. 3/4 EMT feeding the box from a new sub-panel in the garage. Only thing on the sub-panel but this gives me the option to add a second charger in the future without having to run the 60 ft. back through the garage and into the basement.
