Mobile service appointment

When you have a mobile service appointment, they give you a four hour window. Do they get back in touch with you on the day of to narrow that down ("we'll be there in 30 minutes") or does it remain a four hour window until they actually show up?

best bet is give them the location where you gonna be in that 4 hr.

Homelink install so it has to be at home. But I'm hoping not to sit at home for the four hours and instead make the 30 minute drive home when I know when they are coming. I can make it so I can get home anytime during the window but don't want to be there for three hours when I could be elsewhere.

I just had a mobile service last week.… He texted me at 8:15 to tell me he would text his ETA when he was heading my way. He texted a couple hours later to tell me he was on the way (with ETA).

Same. They texted me on the day of with updates.
