Have a MYP picked up August 2021.. no radar.. phantom breaking regularly on the highway. I’d say one out of every 5 uses, some mild, usually moderate, on rare occasion abrupt and jarring. My wife has a Volvo with pilot assist plus and it honestly does a better job without any phantom breaking...

Also got the VIN today! The agreement form popped up this morning asking me to agree that its a Vision Only based vehicle now, after that the VIN popped up 250XXXX. Payment and insurance now completed and waiting for delivery Sunday. Surprisingly, no option to pick up, said for South OC only...

Insurance is not one of the required items and you dont need it until you go in on delivery day. So you wait until you get VIN before insurance.

So to get this info.. you click "Overview" in your account page for the vehicle you ordered. Then a list will show up of the items completed and the "next steps." To get into the system for delivery (EDD) I believe the first two have to be completed?

Every day I move closer... delivery date gets pushed one day back. Does anyone actually get deliveries? 😩

That is a tremendous amount of time to be waiting. Hopefully the October is a system bug and it gets updated to a sooner delivery in the next few days.

I'm in a similar situation as far as the dates, but no VIN yet. Weird you received the VIN and the dates are still being pushed back. Have you talked to your Tesla Advisor?

Thats happened to me before.. had to completely log out of the account and log back in, refreshing wasn't working.

Delivery went back a day as well form 8/8-22 to 8/9-22 been a daily trend going back a day maybe till it hits 8/22.

EDD got bumped from 6-8 to 7-8 weeks for MYP on the Tesla order page. Guess they’re getting a little more backed up.

Speaking of financing ^^^ I did go through Tesla, but my understanding was any rate provided/agreement is good for 30 days? So what happens when people dont get there cars delivered once financing is approved? Or does it work differently with Tesla Finance.

My advisor checked in with my shortly after making the order to introduce himself, when I did have a questions for him took a few days for a response.. Is there a point to even ask about the EDD? I figured they are seeing what we are seeing on the website for the window.

Same thing happened to me, but for a MYP no other added options.

My EDD just updated today from mid to end of September to 8/5-8/15. MYP ordered early July.

One benefit of the delivery delay.. possibly.. a budget vote to be held in congress by 8/8 I believe so mayyyybe some federal tax incentives for Tesla again. No idea if anything would be retroactive, but it would be nice to have that federal tax credit again.

Also about a second faster 0-60, carbon fiber spoiler, and the new projection LED headlamps.. guess it all adds up, if its worth it, is relative to each person i guess.

My early July order MYP also got pushed back a month as well from mid august to mid September.

Do the Model Ys being recently delivered come with homelink or is that a service add on?

Looks like Tesla just updated their order pages. MYLR pushed back to December estimate for new orders. MYP still 7-9 weeks.
