Personally, if the service center was that far away, I wouldn’t. If you have any trouble that needs their help, you’ll regret the inconvenience. I love my Tesla, but I have 2 service centers not far away.

Image stabilization. You know how modern cameras have nice image stabilization for pictures or videos to smooth things out? I'd love to see that on the Tesla center screen. Me trying to touch a control on the screen in a moving car is a losing battle frequently. :)

If you like to keep your car looking nice, I think PPF is worth it. But consider doing just the front of the car to save money, and shop around - your quote is high.

No free charges. If you can, get a Level 2 charger installed at your home. Much easier and cheaper than depending on Superchargers.

So sorry to hear of your problems. If it were me, I’m sure I’d feel the same way. My Y has thankfully been great and I hope to have it for years, but when it is time for the next EV, customer service will definitely factor into my choice.

I was up a creek with a creak in my dash as well. But a second attempt last week with servicing silenced the creak when driving on rough pavement, and now all is well. I have to say, it is nice to get rid of that.

When I set that up, the Tesla app had a list of utilities and their rates. So, you can just select your utility and the app will know the calculation for the time of day when you charge.

It’s a great car, and I like the Y for the higher seat height and cabin roominess. It really excels as a commuter car. My commute is 38 miles roundtrip, and plugging in Level 1 at work pretty much covers the trip. All told, I’m spending about $20 a month for energy. Can't beat that!

That's how I feel. In retirement, there still may be a Boxster in my future if I'm lucky enough. Great car.
