I saw something on RPM Tesla about a PPF sized for HOV stickers. I made note of it for when it was time. I didn't think much about when to apply for the HOV stickers but thanks to this forum, now I know I should wait closer to the end of the year.

I took delivery on 9/7 and I just received my CA plates today.

I justified my still being around because I was emotionally invested in the VIN and car deliveries of the Carlsbad crew and other of the long time waiters. Now, they all have their VINS and almost all have their cars, I need to find others to use an excuse be invested in.

Yeah, I noticed that. Mine is stuck at 2021.11.103. I read somewhere that Tesla probably does this purposely and keeps it on the last most stable build 🤷‍♀️ but that after a month, updates become available. We'll just have to wait and see...my 1 month anniversary is coming up.

I'm doing the same with our Gemini covers and our badges and emblems except with Shadow Black...my Hyperdip order should arrive this weekend. Even bought red stickers for the center emblems. Of course, I've never done anything remotely like this before so wish me luck!

I'm biased but I love my Red MYLR. :) Only you can answer if that long drive (which could also affect your trade-in value) is worth the color change though.

I was contacted the day after receiving my VIN to schedule delivery, both through email and text.

More importantly, that's an extra 5 minutes in the car. 😁

I find myself smiling a lot while driving and I make up excuses to go out to the garage/parking lot just to take peeks at her. Oh, and I've never been much into car accessories but now I have a whole pinterest board to keep track. And, I installed mud flaps for the first time in my life!!! :)

Would manufactured date on the sticker inside the driver's door reflect when the actual date the car is made? Or do they change that for the "rejects/bastards" once fixed? The reason I ask is mine says "09/21" but my VIN is not in that range you specified.

I'm sure this will be asked, what was your EDD prior to getting the VIN?

Chin up! I've been in my EDD multiple times only to have it shift away. But once I got below the 15 day threshold (like you appear to be) it all happened really fast! I really think you'll be getting your VIN soon. 🤞 Just hang in there!

I named ours "October" (as in "Hunt for Red..." and not the dreaded Tesla Octoberfest 😂), Toby for short.

I took delivery from the same Center and mine did not come with mud flaps or rear side ppf.

That Mazda 3 is actually our second one, had one before her....and they are sooo fun to drive! I used to love taking the back curvy roads between Yucaipa and Riverside as fast (and as safely, of course) as I could go. I'm glad my daughter loves this one as much. :)
