mm good idea on a 2x4. my point of using a bottle jack as there are decent 4-ton options, when compared to scissor jacks.

My only worry it since it's a small contact point verses a scissor or floor jack. Would that small contact damage anything, or would need a metal plate. Right now I have a floor jacket with pucks, the bottle Jack I would leave in car for emergencies.

If there is FSD it will be behind in updates. I have a 2023 MX from September and when it still had the FSD package updates, it was slow, maybe 1 update month. But after the FSD had expired updates came rolling in and I am currently on 2024.2.7

Yes the Model X is amazing. I have a family of 4 and we went from a Model Y to X. We much prefer the X over the Y. I am currently working on a compairson of the X and Y from my point of view.

When i checked the torque last time the top 2 was 90 lbs, and the bottom was 115

I've updated to version 2024.2.2.1 about 2 days ago, suddenly 30 minutes into my drive I lost cabin heating. So far I've done a restart, drove for another 30 minutes, but still got a heating error. Anyone else has issue with heating after the update? 2023 ModelX LR

I recently installed the Macboost shim, on my 2023 MXL. On my 2nd drive, I noticed that I had to turn the steering wheel slightly to the left for the car to go straight. Would this relate to the toe arm adjustment, or maybe just needs an alignment?

I tried to install the macboost shim in my 2023 model x 20 inches wheel. Been having hard time getting it in. I tried pring at it but still doesn't create enough room. They say to roll it in but no where enough room for that.Anyone have any tips ? Can I install it upside down ?

sorry to hear your having sound issues. I took my delivery a month ago now i think. I didnt have any base audio or rear audio, their fix was replacing the amp. After service everything else has been working fine

Picked up MX this past tuesday

did a ton more testing when i got home. none of the base speakers work, only the mids and twitters in the front seat, only twiters in the 2nd row, and nothing in the 3rd row.

that i get hand saw and just cut the top off, and wrap the edges - round to yoke on the cheap - :cool:

i gotta mess withit some more, maybe there wil be a good spot. will have to see. might even go to yoke

i changed the eq moving the sub all the way up - no sound from sub and bass, mids and treble is working. turn off the sound isolation

I picked up my model x yesterday the sub was working, but when i drove it this morning the sub stopped working? I did the break pedal and scroll wheel computer restart, but i cant get the sub to work again. Anyone got ideas?
