I got mine this evening!

My car was built 2/1/22 and delivered 2/14/22 and it is also still on 2021.43.201

My delivery was scheduled for today from 12-4pm. At 8:20am they called me to say my car is stuck in transit in California and they gave me a new delivery date a week from now! They said it shouldn’t take that long and they aren’t sure how this all happened but WTF!!

FYI. I just looked at some 470 VINs in a Tesla lot and they do not have the new lights.

I’m 4703 born 2/1/22. I receive it tomorrow afternoon

My delivery is set for Monday between noon and 4pm. I’ll let you all know.

Delivery confirmed for Monday 2/7 afternoon delivery. I’m not expecting new lights but I’m hopeful.

I put a hold on a 467 VIN on 1/15 in an attempt to get new lights. Hold went off 1/31. Assigned a 470 VIN 2/2 with a 2/1 build date car. EDD 2/5-2/8.

FYI. I put my car on hold on 1/15 after I received a VIN as I wanted to hopefully hold out for lights. My hold expired yesterday on 1/31 where my EDD said TO be Determined. This morning on 2/1 my EDD says 2/4 through 2/13.

That is my config as well. My delivery was scheduled for yesterday but I put my order on hold until January 31 hoping for new lights. Hoping I don’t get shafted with a long hold after my order goes off hold on January 31.

Man... now you've got me wondering if structural 4680's and 500 miles of range are coming to the S in Q3. Any hints here?

How do you find another SA? I’ve been texting one number since I ordered my car in July.

How did you delay until end of March? My VIN match occurred last weekend and my SA would only allow a hold until 1/31.

It could also be them producing Model S for export to regions like Asia.

On 11/22 Musk said he expedited Plaid deliveries in China around March. This would align with tail light refresh timeline.

He has no idea about timing of lights. They gave me a VIN this morning and he then released it. I’m hoping there may be an announcement during Q4 conference call on 1/26

I ended up putting on hold through end of January. Fingers crossed this makes a difference.

Update… my rep said “There is no official announcement or way for me to see if it has the new head/tail lights unfortunately. The vehicle was produced on Wed Jan 12 19:33:29 2022”

I just got a 467 vin this morning EDD Jan 17-21. I really want the new lights though. Has anyone rejected a VIN yet to hold out for the new lights? If so what is your new EDD?

I asked my rep about putting vehicle on hold or rejecting a VIN so I can try and get the new headlights and taillights. He told me to wait until I have a VIN at which point he can tell if it has new hardware and if it doesn’t I can reject it. That being said he knows nothing about the new...

My EDD is Jan 12-22. Can I refuse delivery and state I want one with the new lights? How long can I push delivery?

Has anyone received a Jan 1 or later build? My EDD starts tomorrow and runs 10 days.

No VIN yet. You would think EDD would automatically push itself out a bit and not overlap with the current date if no VIN. This is my first Tesla so all new to me.

My DM S blue with white interior 19” has EDD of today through Jan 18. Ordered in July 11539. SA has no info and says the app is the best estimate. Is it typical for a 2-week window and running right into it? I would’ve expected a tighter delivery window by now.

Same. Mine went from October to February to Dec 14 to Jan 4 (for one day), back to February, and blank for the last 5 days or so.
