I hope for you sake they settle quickly without the need to go to court. For everyone else's sake I hope it goes to court and a precedent is set in your favour.
The best thing about this design is they can be brought online without waiting for the local DNSP to pull their finger out and connect it etc. So much quicker this way.
St George and Cunnamulla are now live in the Chargefox app. Cunnamulla is also showing as live in plugshare. Anyone willing to go for a cruise this weekend to test? 😁
My house didn't have one either. I'm pretty sure it was the same meter that was installed in 1975 when the house was built. Powershop got Energex to come out and upgrade my house to a smart meter. Didn't cost me anything other than some time and no power for a couple of hours during the upgrade.
There are non app solutions for this. Kemppower DCFC systems can show a QR code for a unique URL for your charging session, so you can monitor it from a website on your phone.

You can oversubscribe AC chargers as well, Tesla Wall Chargers and others have the ability to manage a circuit amongst a number of units. Ramping up and down the allowed load on each unit as cars come and go or finish charging.
Miles and Charleville are live and since they are literally hundreds of kilometres from any other DC fast charger. I won’t be complaining if they “only” deliver 38 kw effective

Some photos turned up on Facebook of a QESH install at Esk, with chargers in place and wrapped in black plastic. Hopefully that site will be live soon.
Latest update from QLD Premier
“Charging stations will be switched on next week: Charters Towers - 16 November, Hughenden and Cloncurry -17 November, and Winton -18 November.”
Groundbreaking ceremony at Kingaroy. Queensland’s bumper Electric Super Highway gets a boost
“First stop is Kingaroy, soon to be followed by Longreach, Barcaldine, Blackall, Charleville, Miles and Stanthorpe.”
Superchargers would a certainty. I can recommend "The Whisk" pastry cafe on the street behind there. Worth visiting when killing time during a charging session.
