I have a 2020 XC60 with their “pilot assist” and will admit it’s very good on the highway with following, lane keeping, stop-start traffic, etc. Will be interesting to see how much of an improvement this is.

They’ve continually had 4 or 5 demo vehicles available, and no less than 3 sitting on the showroom floor. Last time I was in they had a M3LR, a MYP, and MYLR sitting on the floor.

Anecdotal, but I went in to my SC today and the building and front lot were empty. Only the delivery and employee lots had cars. Looks like they purged their demo inventory for the new year.

My service center reached out today and told me my car will be in at 5pm on the 22nd and asked if I may be able to pick up on the 23rd or 24th. I gave them a resounding yes!

I guess selling on site demo inventory is a little different from breaking the backs of employee to meet numbers. Does anyone know how to check their car’s battery age at delivery?

I paid $625 for installation, and it the cheapest rate I was quoted by a couple of hundred dollars. After watching them install it there were some things i didn’t have the equipment for (e.g. drilling through and mounting to thick brick) so I’m glad I had it done.

I got the Vision agreement the same time I got the VIN. To be clear on the order, I saw the VIN then the Vision agreement, VIN wasn't dependent on Vision. I was asked to schedule my delivery probably 3 or 4 days after that (about 15 minutes after I updated my financing)

What is this supercharger incentive you speak of?

When I placed my order I got a text that said "welcome to Tesla" but since then I've only received two other texts (one was a test drive and the other was telling me it was time to schedule my delivery).

That's what I figured, that they put what they consider to be a safe buffer mileage for testing on there rather than physically (or digitally) surveying mileage and keeping up with it on a MVPA.

I was perusing my MVPA today and noticed that the odometer reading is listed and states that it has 15 miles on it. Does anyone else have a similar amount of mileage? I'm wondering if this just a boiler plate buffer mileage for production and testing of the car prior to shipping.

Part 5 of the MVPA is purchase price credits, with subparts A through G subtracting from purchase price. Subpart B is "order fee payment" of $250. For me, subpart's B, D (finance), and G (cash) make up my payment for the car.

It goes towards the purchase price and will be listed as a credit on the final motor vehicle purchase agreement.

I called my local store this morning to modify the payment method from cash to cash + finance and less than 15 minutes after that call I got a request to schedule my delivery! I'm picking up on 12/27 at our local store, first appointment of the day.

My SA looked at my account when I was in the service center last week and said my M3P was sitting on the Fremont manufacturing floor as we spoke. I'm not sure if that was hyperbole or if they have more insight than I was aware of, but I had only gotten the VIN a day or two before.

This is correct. If the 10th character is M it’s a 21 and if it’s N it’s a 22.

Oh no, what a shame. Not that it's the way it should work, but if the SA can't help you and it keeps pushing you out have you thought about placing another order and seeing if that fixes it? Your order sounds like it's lost in a wormhole.

That's interesting. I have the same config and ordered three days after you but I have my VIN and an EDD of 12/25-12/29. Where I take delivery (Knoxville) is at the intersection of I-40 and I-75, and I see trucks full of Teslas all the time coming through, so maybe a truck coming through is why...
