Should have had a delivery/appointment text scheduling it in way ahead of its arrival in Southampton. Talia will start unloading Tesla's tonight once it moves over. Depending on delivery location times will vary I'm Glasgow home delivery and scheduled 10th Nov

See a nice flurry of VINs again which is a good sign for pending orders. Also at this point in time we end up seeing lots of when did you order/what did you order messages and then subsequent frustration on why you haven't been allocated yet especially if a same config has been allocated but...

I believe the tow bar is rated to 1,000kg, if its a tow bar bike rack that doesn't touch the ground does the rating apply?

No it wasn't due to tow bar. Was because my current car wasn't being released till 15th October so couldn't get the tesla till before this. My order was active by 1st October and I have a scheduled delivery date of 10th November (Salary Sacrifice) currently on Talia ship.

I've certainly never experienced that, 3 times in a SC for updates and 3 calls to the call centre never had any issues getting an update.

If you sign into your Tesla Account, right click (use chrome browser) and select "view source" then search for "VIN" if you have a car allocated then it will be showing a VIN number. If you are a lease/salary sacrifice then this wont work as the car doesnt show up in your account.

True confirmation that its in transit is getting a VIN confirmation text or if you are a lease/salary sacrifice you'll get a "Your vehicle arrival date is being calculated" text with no VIN. Either of these texts happen when the car is in transit to the UK

Personally I didn't, mainly because the money for it didn't justify the usage for me. I also think the rules in the UK are much more stringent than in the US and therefore the functionality has been limited in the UK but since I don't have it don't take my word on that.

Once you have VIN text/Delivery text then your car is on a ship, then follow Mr Miserable to figure out what ship you are likely to be on. Those with delivery early Nov (me!!!!) looks to be on Talia. There are a couple of ships behind Talia currently on their way and others about to dock in...

If it doesn't have a link to book then it's coming straight to you. I spoke to Tesla regarding confirmation. You don't get a reply it just shows as acknowledged on their system

I spoke to them too as mine was pushed back 2 days, they said it's likely due to either bad weather or reschedule arrival at the dock or both but advised my date will be the date provided.

Did you manage to get a ship name off them, I spoke to them today also and they confirmed I'm on the first ship to arrive but couldn't tell me the ship name or arrival date, wonder if you had any luck?

Yeah certainly got impression it's on its way, I tried for a ship name but unwilling to give it up saying head office will have that info but not us. But did say it's on its way from Shanghai. No arrival date given I'm afraid 🤔
