I was bumped straight to the front after swapping on 4/25 (9/16/21 OD). Picked up my car on May 11th. People aren’t being bumped to the front after swapping because there are swappers with even earlier ODs.

They manufacture a large batch (thousands) of vehicles, then batch assign the VINs

For MYP, adding Tow or FSD or a premium exterior/interior color does NOT speed up your EDD.

The root problem is the EDD information. We rely on it as an accurate indicator of when we get our cars, but it's not.

Agree. ODD or the date swapped from LR to P makes a difference. As well as location: if you don't live near a metro it will take longer to get your car produced. Are you sure you completed your profile? Many people (myself included) made that mistake, only to realize it's not completed.

You are. Everyone who has gotten a VIN has a 2-week EDD window or shorter. Based on your latest EDD it's a good bet you'd get your car before end of June.

Your EDD should narrow to a 2-week interval before you are close to getting a VIN. Hope you see an EDD update later this week!

Based on the patterns I'm observing, you might have to wait until late May to get your VIN. Those of us who have EDDs in the 5/11 - 5/25 range will take priority, and even we might not get VINs until later this week.

I made my own. Crawled through this thread and notated every recent submission's OD, VIN Date, EDD, etc. Add your details to your signature and I can give you a best guess when your VIN will arrive.

I think it's fine for each of us to have opinions about LR vs P. No need to debate back and forth in this thread.

My MSM twin: I've crunched the numbers. 85 datapoints of MYP orders. We are in the next batch of MYPs to be produced, and we should get our VINs by Sunday. 🤞

I can't tell how reliable the entries in the tracking spreadsheet are, so I'm relying on the submissions in this thread instead.

Be patient. If you ordered (or upgraded to) an MYP, you will get your car. If your EDD keeps moving later indefinitely, to the point where it's been 4 months since you ordered and still no VIN, call an SA and ask what's up. Also, don't be like me. Make sure your profile is complete. Mine stayed...

I've been painstakingly tracking ODD => VIN Date mappings for this thread :) A bunch of people got VINs last weekend. ODD ranged from Sept 2021 to 2/15/2022. Extending that logic, I'm betting that people with February ODDs should get VINs this month, if not also deliveries.

Chances of VIN going poof are low. Worth a shot before rates go higher

My prediction on MYP delivery dates based on order date: Before Feb 2022 => by May 25 Feb 2022 => by June 15 March 2022 => by June 30 After March => Q3 Some early April orders may be delivered by June 30. But given number of people swapping from MYLR to MYP, I expect production to take longer...
