    2022.44.25

Update is decent, but like I suspected, there's some annoyances with the Apple Music App. Shuffle sucks, I have 54 pages of music, but it will only shuffle one page at a time and the process is slow to jump to the next page. Also, as others have mentioned, there is slight buffering delay when...

Steering wheel low vibration feedback from road.

Nope still has it, I beginning to think it’s just the cars suspension. I’ve driven a couple other 3’s including one with the mountain pass coil overs and a Y and they all had some sort of vibration, mine just seems to be more pronounced than others and maybe that’s why I’ve never been able to...

What tires did you end up getting, let us know how the new M3P is in regards to the vibration.

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

It ran true on the machine, according to them, I'm not 100% they actually just did the wheels though, I requested it. I found a shop up in the Bay Area that seems to get good reviews for installing aftermarket Tesla suspension parts and they have a road force balance. My plan is to bring it to...

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

I'm hoping by going to the Tesla meet next week that I can drive and talk to other Tesla owners. I'm thinking if it was like this from day one, I'd totally think, well its just the car. But since I had about 1500 miles before I noticed, it's so strange. I've seen a lot of posts on this issue...

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

I actually disliked the steering on my last BMW 2014 435 Coupe, it felt more like a Camry, it's supposedly improved since then. My favorite BMW was my 2011 BMW 335iS Coupe. I liked the sport steering on the Tesla before my issues. Also I had a typo, I have NO visable shaking of the steering...

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

Does it feel like the buzzing with the lane keep alert? It's similar to that feeling, but less intense. But it's constant. It's more of an annoyance, when I've been on rides with techs, they say they notice it. They say they fixed it and I immediately get in the car to drive home and it's...

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

There seems to be quite a few threads out there with similar situations on here and other Tesla forums. The problems is I've never seen a fix for this situation. It's really frustrating. The situation seems to be happening only after a few 1000 miles and the SC's have been no help. Their...

First off thanks so much for your response, so to answer the questions: My questions so far. 1. Does it happen with the Ac off? Heck. Turn everything you can off in the settings. It happens with the AC on or off and even with everything off. 2. Does steering setting in center screen change it...

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

Got my Hankooks installed, the good news, I really like the tires, smoother much better handling than the continentals. The bad news, the VIBRATION IS STILL THERE. American's tire said they checked the rim, they didnt see any issues and everything was balanced. I'm at a total loss, I found...

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

Just want to confirm the process for checking the wheels, can they put just the wheels on the same balance machine without the tires mounted to determine if there is any issue with the wheels. It seems very unlikely, I haven't curbed them, hit any potholes etc., but just want to be sure. I...

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

My new Hankooks just arrived. Let’s cross our finger this fixes the vibration. Getting them installed tomorrow at America’s tires. I’m wondering if they can also check my wheels with the tires off just in case.

    HankookVENTUS S1 EVO3 - SIZE: 235/40R19 or Michelin PILOT SPORT 4S - SIZE: 235/40ZR19

Those look great. With the shop was in California lol. I like the contrast of the silver wheels with the gray car.

    Michelin 240/35/19 with Foam?

    No, I don't, sorry.

    Michelin 240/35/19 with Foam?

They don’t make a 19 inch max summer performance with foam. I’ve always had Michelin PS4 tires on multiple cars (Mustangs, Accord V6 6-speed, BMW, etc), but I just ordered a set of the Hankook Evo 3 which is the OEM summer tires for 19 inch Rims.

    HankookVENTUS S1 EVO3 - SIZE: 235/40R19 or Michelin PILOT SPORT 4S - SIZE: 235/40ZR19

Looks great!! Wheels really pop with the gray car. How is the noise level of the Hankooks?

    HankookVENTUS S1 EVO3 - SIZE: 235/40R19 or Michelin PILOT SPORT 4S - SIZE: 235/40ZR19

Yeah should look great, I’m excited to see it and hear your impression of the tires. I’ve had a vibration in my steering wheel since 2000 miles and it’s been to Tesla 5 times without a fix. I really hope it’s the tires, until I fix it, I’ve been holding off on any mods.

I just ordered the Hankook's too. Hoping the crappy Continentals are the cause of my steering vibration after 4 trips to Tesla with no fix. I too had to decide between the 19's between the Hankook's and the PS4's. I went with the Hankook's for the same reasons with the 19's and they are now...

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

I was hoping they could try that, they mentioned it one time, but then claimed it was fixed with the balance. I was surprised with no difference with the rotation.

Thanks for the input, really appreciate it. It’s also what America’s tire said. I have one last appointment at the SC next week. If they can’t fix it, (I’ll suggest new tires). Then I think I’ll bite the bullet and get new tires.

I've definitely thought about that after the last time bringing it in. I'm in California, I have one more service set at Tesla. I think I need to use the terms such as it's a safety issue, lemon law etc to entice them look deeper into the issue. I'd love for them to swap another set of...

Still Not Fixed [small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH.]

I seen several post with this situation but no specific answers. I have LR M3 with a steering wheel vibration. When the car hit about 2200 miles (I now have 4000 miles) I get a small vibration in the steering wheel at speeds above 25 MPH. The car drives straight, but it feels like a small...

No I wish. I have the continentals. I thought about getting new tires anyway. Which Michelins did you get.

Oh also has another used Michelin PS4's in 19's without the foam? How much louder is it really?

Slight vibration in steering wheel above 25 MPH

So here is an update taking it to Telsa 1. First time- they said no issue and did "courtesy balance". Still there, complained to service said bring it to lead tech. 2. Tech acknowledge did another balance, still there. 3. They actually took it to American's tire for 3rd balance (Road Force)...

Steering wheel low vibration feedback from road.

I have the exact same experience in my M3 LR. I have 2200 miles and started about 150 miles ago. I had the tires balanced by America’s tires this week after they said the balance was off, but it did not fix my issue.

Hi, Mine isn’t a noise it’s a buzzing feeling, like holding an electric toothbrush, I feel it in my hands while holding the wheel.

You have your lane departure warning setting turned ON. Turn it off in settings and in your situation it will be fixed.

"Acceleration Boost" option, discussion as to which models and how much quicker

So I downloaded the acceleration boost on Friday and did a quick couple drives and thought "well it's faster, but I expected more". So on Saturday I had an opportunity to do an extended drive and yeah, it's a big difference. I don't feel too much difference off the line, but that 20MPH-80MPH...

Error message :Maximum battery charge level reduced. Unable to charge battery to 100%

Candleflame, this off topic, (sorry to hijack the thread) but I saw your posts in audio settings, I totally agree that when parked 0 DB for the bass (far left) sounds great, but when driving, its needs to be bumped up and I also agree that I tend to get ear fatigue with the highs, since we have...
