Guessing it has to do with the fact that my order was about 2 weeks prior to yours, and I'm about 2 hours from Fremont. That being said, this is the 2nd time my EDD has been 12/24-12/31, before this it was 1/27-2/24 so I don't think it'll stay in 2021...

EDD changed back to 12/24-12/31. Guessing/hoping it changes to sometime back in 2022.

I've heard mixed things on the accuracy of this, at least as far as SR+ battery type goes.

You can ask an SA and they cancel your previous order, and then credit your new order with the $250 order fee from the now canceled one.

Well, I got super lucky and saw an SR+ in inventory near me with specs that I like and grabbed it! Does anybody have any experience with getting a refund on an order fee if they already ordered a different car?

True, but when I ordered it was supposed to be February. Guessing since the EDD is just the last week of the year is an overly optimistic end of quarter/year push. And a way to get me to stop refreshing the page 10x a day.

Got an EDD finally! 12/23-12/31. I’m pretty sure it’ll get pushed until 2022 sometime though, which is fine by me for a 2022 VIN and possible EV tax credit.

I’m 99% sure it’ll get pushed to 2022 since it’s currently the last week of the year. If not I’ll defer it until next year anyways since I definitely want a ‘22 VIN and get and possible tax credits. Plus the car that it’s replacing is a lease isn’t getting retuned until April so I definitely...

Me looking for an EDD now that its a new quarter

Well, I called the installer (who is one of the biggest and most reputable in the area, as well as Tesla recommended) and they said they have never had any issues with people running it under the garage door. So, in the garage it is!

Definitely no snow here, winters are low 40s to high 30s at night. Summers though are low 100s.

Funny enough you’re actually local to me. I would highly recommend Connected Technology. They are a Tesla approved installer as well. You fill out a form online and upload some pictures and the get you an accurate quote in about 24 hours. Super nice and responsive as well. $1,060 to install the...
