Aug to sept might be the new “June jail”

Twice now my edd has moved up to within one day. Yesterday it was 5/17 to 5/30 and then changed to 5/14 to 5/24 last night. It moves up but still no vin, i find that so weird. After that happened the first time I was sure I was going to get a VIN

My edd got moved last night from may 15-May28 to May8-May21. Which is very strange considering today is May 8th?? It’s just going to get pushed back again tomorrow likely but weird that it happened

I don’t think this is true. Seems like east coast people are still getting their cars. I live within 4 hours from kato road and my edd is still weeks away. I ordered mylr base on 10/18

just a heads up many people in the Sept forum have not received VIN #s yet and EDDs are more than a month out. I think we will be seeing ours around July-August unless you get lucky with someone cancelling your same config.

is it possible that our orders are just not that profitable for tesla right now compared to new orders that they put orders in queue indefinitely until the customer decides to back out?

my local Tesla agent also says similar things. first that my is going to be built at the end of January, then it will be getting built around feb 16th, then they said it is currently on track to be built the last week in march. I wouldn't get my hopes on them saying that at all

I don’t mean to put ideas into anyone minds but I have a question. What would be the chances Tesla discontinues our orders stating the increasing costs of supply? Has that happened before?

it is strange to see financial reports of Tesla having huge beats in their delivery numbers year over year, and quarter over quarter..yet still have orders from 5 months ago that are not filled.

Don’t worry it likely doesn’t mean anything. I’ve entered delivery twice now. I just don’t think these dates mean anything besides a general time point.

I was in a two week window twice feb1-feb13 then that went by it was feb 17-march 3. Now it says June 16-July 14. What in the world happened???

my SA told me the 19inch wheels are causing huge delays as they are having a supply issue with them

My edd was 1/21. Ordered October 18th. Now my edd got pushed to 2/13-3/3. I talked to the sales agent and they said they are experiencing supply issues with the 19inch wheels and that is why it is being delayed.

So are we pretty much getting Ryzen with these new builds from 1/9?

Couldn’t you just switch to lithium ion later though? That’s what I’ve done with all my motorcycles

Honest question here guys. my EDD is Jan 21-feb 18th. never owned a tesla before, have been inside one but did not use the interface myself. If I took delivery of the car and refrained from checking to see if its AMD or Atom, how much would my life be impacted?

Do you have any data that autopilot is causing increased rear endings? Do you have data showing more crashes and fatality from autopilot? If so, you have more information than NHTSA and many high profile lawyers in this country. You should submit this data to them, it would save lives.
