My 2021 MYLR has USS.

Power Off from the Safety Screen got rid of this for me. Went back to no update after that.

I though about this, but if you look at the lower left of the left port it looks a least to me that a piece of metal was jammed in to make it difficult to remove. Could have been melted, but it looked jammed in and the plastic piece was skewed to the upper right.

Was there 6/25/2022 and one of the chargers "5B" looked like it was intentionally vandalized (see attachments) and would not charge. Was able to charge on "5A" and checked all the other plugs not being used for charging and they looked OK. Called Tesla to report and they said site was offline.

Just loaded software 2022.16.2 on 06/24/22. 2022.16.1.1 and 2022.16.1.2 have been working since 06/08/2022 with no "Dashcam RED X Error of Death". Go figure? Have been using a SanDisk 256GB MAX Endurance microSDXC Card with a Kingston MobileLite Plus USB 3.2 microSDHC/SDXC UHS-II Card Reader.

Still working for me. Have had no failures since loading software 2022.16.1.1 on 06/08. I guess I just jinxed myself though! LOL

FYI - Tesla removed the requirement for 12V disconnect on the Model 3 for ECU remove and replace the week ending June 4th.

For those who have used the "Service Mode - Software Reinstall" route to update to the proper firmware after the ECU swap does the Software have to be downloaded again through WiFi or is it already stored for reinstall?

Just loaded it ... will see, but I have little hope.

Not saying disconnecting 12V power is necessary for the Model 3, just that Tesla recommends it according to their Service Manuals. However, they do not for the Model Y's. They also recommend to "Connect a 12V support charger to make sure power is not lost during the update." when doing the...

The Tesla Service Manual seems to indicate that for Model Y's the Disconnection of 12V power is not required. However, it appears that the Model 3 requires the Disconnection of 12V power. Attached is the Model Y's ECU - Charge Port (Remove and Replace) instructions.

Well the USB drive GPT (GUID Partition Table) partition test was an epic fail for me. After one day the dreaded Dashcam Red X of Death made an appearance!!

I have converted a USB drive from a MBR (Master Boot Record) partition to a GPT (GUID Partition Table) partition and am trying it as a TESLADRIVE for a possible workaround for the Dashcam Red X Error of Death. Time will tell.

I called Tesla Customer Service at 888-518-3752 and got a human. Explained issue as I wanted it on record. They said maybe schedule service because they could force a software update (I did not). Take it for what it is worth. Needless to say next software update did not solve the issue.

Do you have Software 2022.12.3.2 installed? If not you may want to wait until it is as others have said it fixed this issue.

Have started to get these messages on Tesla iPhone app when using certain ChargePoint chargers. At one location there are 3 exactly the same dual ChargePoint chargers. Three out of the six plugs give this warning with a red charging cable on the app and no charging. The other three plugs work...

Have received a full refund from Lectron after they received the returned adapter. Do not know if they are going to do any further troubleshooting of the charging problems that I experienced.

Well Lectron is having me ship back the adapter. It appears they could not figure out why these chargers were not working. Oh well.
