MS headlights suck, hoping I can retrofit my 2 month old car :)

I’ve had multiple encounters of people snooping, checking doors, and even breaking windows of cars next to mine but never get any notifications or alarm. Is there anyway to trigger the alarm more sensitively? i see there’s an anti theft package for the 2020 and older models

Anyone know after you park whether the headlights should stay on? I'm having to manually turn them on/off when i park(dont want to have headlights on if im just sitting in the car); I don't think the "auto" option ever goes to "parking headlights" mode, just stays full on.

There's clearly a screen extending from the gauge cluster to the passenger side(though undocumented). Anyone know if there's going to be some utility at some point?

I live in an apartment too so whenever I get an update notification on my phone I tether the car to my phone's hotspot and install the update that way

Should've been included in the Plaid price tag imo. I won't be buying it bc I think 20k for ceramic brakes is ridiculous (im not a car guy so idk how much brakes cost) and this is my daily car, but it sucks its not cheap for the cost diff of the plaid.

Getting the Plaid to feel the max power of an EV, otherwise LR would be good enough; but personally don't want "good enough". Then again everyone has their needs. This will be my first car too, going from riding ubers to driving a Plaid! Leasing for 3 years and then depending on how I like it...

Call your local tesla store if they have any in inventory. They might say "no plaids because theyre new" initially but press them on checking on their internal dashboard a bunch will show up. I called them everyday for the past week and they have plenty but they go fast!

haha I've been calling them every other day and finally had some time to ask in person. had a reservation since Jan, had to cancel in September and open up another one :( glad I can finally get my first car!

Got matched with a Model S plaid this week! Went to the Sunnyvale store and got a match immediately. VIN is MF453*** don’t know if there’s anything I should know about it

Put an order for the Plaid X after the price increase bc the price difference between LR and Plaid is relatively closer, no reason to go for the LR when Plaid is just a bit more. Tesla got me :)

Anyone have an EDD of this year? I talked to a sales rep in the Bay Area who said Plaids would deliver by December, though im unsure now (my plaid x has an edd of july which im sure is just a placeholder)

If I'm paying close to 150k for a car I'd rather get built in seats than covers haha. If my Plaid doesnt come by December I'm just going to go for the black interior since I need it this year

I heard from a sales rep in the Bay Area that Model X Plaids would be coming out in December but just saw it refresh to June/July a few days ago. Anyone else seeing this? Was hoping to get an X regardless of LR or Plaid by years end
