Is having one wall connector enough for you guys? We have a Model Y coming (soon, I hope). In the future though, my wife is planning on a Model 3 (or 2 if they ever release it). We currently have one wall connector installed, but wondering if just having one is enough for a household.

They have the cheapest prices by far, but the worst customer service which, for me I value for something that will be on my roof for 25+ years. Add to that, their panels and inverters aren't anything special. The Tesla app is nice for monitoring, but Enphase has something I think even better...

I'm glad I didn't go solar with Tesla. If it's this hard to get a response from them about my EDD, I can't imagine dealing with this type of customer service if my solar system needed service. It's just horrendously bad..

I've been on chat with two reps from Tesla thus far and they basically end the chat as soon as you ask about the mobile connector and just say you can still buy it knowing that it's sold out. I asked about my order from October 2021 and they said it it will NOT include a mobile connector...

I mentioned my order which was from last year and they responded with that.

It's not only $500. I literally paid an extra $900 on top of the price of the wall connector to get the charger installed in my house. The installation can add up real quick. It'll cost you even more if you only have a 100 amp service or your panel needs an upgrade.
