I have heard that some S70Ds in 2015 were software limited. How can I tell if mine is? Do I need to ask Tesla? It shows 06/15 as the manufacture date. If it is software limited, I wonder if they would let me upgrade?

That being the case, it does seem like 90 kWh is the way to go. What about charging speeds? Is it likely both would be roughly the same? That is one of the most significant issues for me with the 70D.

Does anyone have good information about the difference in range between a 100-kWh and a 90-kWh battery in a Model S? Is it roughly 45 miles? I have a 2015 model S 70D that I will probably upgrade. There is a big difference in cost between the 90 and the 100...trying to decide if it is worth it...

Yea, this weekend we just had a 120 connection, and it worked fine. But for Crater Lake, we plan to drive up and around the rim each day, so it will add up with all the hills. It would be nice to get back, plug in, and full charge by morning.

I had this error a couple of times...but it was clear the brake wasn't actually engaged. I wonder if it is a sensor issue. But the error seems to have gone away...which makes me a little nervous of course.

The "on different phases" part is what I am worried about. I am not familiar with how common that would be. But I do love being able to plug in where we stay, and doubling the charging speed there would be nice. My 2016 model S charges pretty slow on superchargers.

I could get a used heater online for under $200. I bet I could actually do this myself. But since I would have to tow it home, it probably isn't worth it.

I asked them for more details, and they said this: "Diagnosed and found the PTC heater has low isolation resistance. Will need PTC header and 12v battery replaced. 12v battery died due to being unsupported because of the PTC header fault."

Is there a way to have Tesla read messages that come in from discord and reply, like you can when texting? I would like to switch to discord instead of text, except that I like the option to have the car read me the texts and the ability to use voice to reply.

I know the EPA range was 240 new, and I know the actual range is shorter than that. But what would the range actually read fully charged in miles when this car was bought new? Could I charge it up and see 240 miles in the readout in realistic mode?

Right, but I feel like when we got our model 3, fully charged it wasn't all the way up to the EPA range. I am curious if that is where these start, where (in "realistic" mode, they charge up to 240?
