The car is still under the 12 month warranty and the excessive abnormal wear in only 10,000 miles is prompting this. Not sure how they would treat this if it’s outside the 12 month warranty of the Tesla

How does one make a Tire Warranty claim? My 2022 Model Y LR has just completed 10,000 miles (tire rotation and wheel balancing done ravers 5000 miles) and I drive on Chill mode and no racing. The tire tread is showing 6/32 which is absolutely abnormal as that’s the tread depth most MY LR owners...

Any vehicle issues are to reported to Tesla within 24 hours of delivery for them to fix. Otherwise you need to buy it from Tesla Service Center

They changed the VziN and assigned a new VIN this week. Spoke with Tesla customer care and they said it was done as delivery was delayed

My order agreement is for Long Range (330 miles) as that was the only other variation other than Performance model in Oct 2021. They introduced Short Range (279 Mike) variant in Jan 2022.

Thanks for your candid impressions. I’m awaiting delivery of my MY-LR (Tesla showing ETA is now in April) so this was very helpful. I’m assuming you had no issues with the vehicle having incorrect door-panel gaps, which have been a regular issue with MY.
