New to IO. I have noticed that the smart charging does not always get started and one night the car did not charge at all. If I really need a charge, I feel that I need to schedule a charge at 2330. Have others had this problem and any tips?

Thank you- I will see if I can use the central console for music. I did look at partitioning the USB but it was a bit too technical and it prevents adding extra music files. Looks like Tesla needs to pay more attention to better music options.

Yep- it is a Type 2 connector which is the commonest version in the UK compatible for a wide range of EVs including Teslas. It is a temperamental issue and is unpredictable.

My Podpoint charger does not have a button (unlike the Tesla chargers). I rely on either the app or the touchscreen inside the car- sometimes neither of these work, so it is not just a problem whilst the car is asleep.

It looks like I might have made a mistake when setting up scheduled departure charging so that the car thought I was going to start my journey and started to preheat. Once I switched off scheduled charging this is no longer an issue.

I might take up your advice- it is awful to see so much charge draining away- sometimes I think the car uses less electricity when driving than when stationary at home!!

Is there .any way of being able to keep the map in the zoomed in version by default like Google Maps? Everytime I zoom in within a few seconds it zooms out and shows the whole route making it impossible to know how to anticipate which turning I need to take.
