Good point. I feel pretty safe with autopilot (at least when and where I’m comfortable using it). FSD is new to me so I’m not sure how much to trust it. Have many of you with FSD turned it off and gone back to autopilot instead?

Got it. So FSD basically replaces autopilot when there is an address entered. Not sure why Tesla wouldn’t offer both autopilot and FSD driving options for a destination since FSD is beta testing. Anyone get 3dmaxpider cargo area mat yet? Their floor mats just saved my car's back seat 2 days ago when I spilled half a Starbucks coffee (4 drink holder tipped over while driving home). Quick rinse out and it's good as new! So glad that didn't happen with the stock mats.

Fantastic quick review and thoughts! "Would never call the MS nimble." Have you tried the suspension in Sport mode? I drove the car in Auto for the first month and might have sold it if there weren't a firmer suspension setting. Zero handling in the Auto setting ... just my opinion of course...

does the auto high beam work any better with the new lights than they did with the old lights? the auto high beams only turn on about 5% of the time I wished they would (my 2022 car arrived in February and has the old lights)

I just installed these (front and rear seats) for my Plaid and they are just excellent. Much nicer than the Weathertech mats I previously purchased (BMW M4). Highly recommended! Awaiting alert when the cargo mat becomes available so I can buy that next.

Interesting! Couple thoughts: (1) With regenerative braking, are the front brakes actually used LESS than the rear brakes? (2) When I switched to carbon ceramic brakes on sports car, I immediately noticed how much cleaner the front wheels are ... realized it's brake dust more than road...

If Tesla stopped including the home charger and knocked $400 off of the price for every new car ... then I'm fine with the decision. People could order it a la carte. If Tesla kept the car price the same and just stopped including it ... then not so good. I just used mine at a friend's house...

Completely agree. Use the lane change feature every day while on autopilot. Glad I have it!

I want to be able to take my mountain bike ... which gets REALLY muddy after a good ride ... in the S Plaid. Would Tesla's liners work well for that ? Won't that set-up leave the rear seat backs exposed when I drop the rear seat to add the (muddy) bike?

Very helpful! These stock brakes aren’t so great, both for pedal feel and stopping power. LMK your impressions of the Unplugged brakes. I was going to get winter wheels/tires … but now you have me thinking maybe I should use the arachnids for winter tires and look into lighter wheels for a set...
