well, short term the price cut definitely works: last week I saw around 20 MXP available for immediate delivery and now only one left.

I see price war on EVs leading by Tesla. 'Premium brands ' like MB and BMW will cut their EV prices in response to tesla cuts and it should benefit consumers. Honestly, there is no reason EV should cost much more than ICE.

first wave of people who was waiting for the first cut will jump on existing inventory and it will be gone in couple weeks. After that Tesla will need another price cut to move X and S before they do major upgrades to those models.
