+1 on white with carbon fiber. I'm hoping to be able to swap the walnut for carbon fiber after delivery, since it's not a configuration option for LR Model S.

I'm not able to connect to TuneIn at all. When I click on the TuneIn tab, the screen displays the message 'Loading' then a few seconds later it displays the message 'Unable to reach TuneIn. Try again later'. I refreshed and rebooted the screens, but the same result.

Have any North American owners been able to successfully order European spec visors? I've removed the stickers from my black visors, but there is a slight difference in color/texture of the fabric where the stickers used to be. Can anyone help me to order Euro spec visors without the stickers?

I traded in my previous Model S for the P85D and I can definitely hear the whir from the front and rear on the D. It's most noticeable when the radio is off.

The Tesla front console can be installed over the yacht floor. The yacht floor does not have to be removed.

If you don't need AWD and the 5K price difference is not significant for you, probably better to go for the longer range of the 85, especially considering the lack of SC in AR. The 85 handles very well for normal daily driving.

Grey seats will clash with the textile headliner. Grey with black headliner looks great. Tan or black seats will look nice with textile headliner, just depending on your preference. I used to prefer tan interior, but now I prefer the low maintenance of black interior.

Valet Mode The release notes say you can also use the Model S mobile app to start and cancel Valet Mode. Has anyone been able to do this? I don't see this option on my mobile app.

Infiniti, Mercedes-Benz, and Lexus also allow video while in park. I'm really looking forward to having this capability in the Model S.

I tried it. :smile: Even though the factory reset button is active in valet mode, it requires a user id and password to reset.

Based on Elon's presentation at the D event, this is what I was expecting for blind spot warning, but maybe it will come with 7.O.

The design studio depiction is not accurate. Since late last year all rear seats have the larger staggered head rests. It's best to go by the photos you've seen of the actual standard rear seats that have been delivered. The small, same-sized rear head rests are no longer available, even...

I agree with you. It's much better to select the trim level first. In fact, I've trained myself to select P85D first and then go back up and start from the top with the options. It would be a nice improvement if Tesla made this change to the design studio, but it's still a lot easier to...

I wish Tesla offered gloss carbon fiber as an option for Model S. The matte carbon fiber looks fake. After seeing the Maserati carbon fiber interior, I could not settle for the matte look in the Model S. Tesla did offer gloss carbon fiber for the Roadster, but unfortunately, not for Model S.

I agree. I believe every Model S built in the last couple of months has the taller headrests whether the seats are next gen or not. If someone has a P85D with small headrests in the rear, please post a pic.

I agree with SweetP... on a budget, drop the pano roof and definitely keep the tech package. I have sat in the textile seats. They are comfortable and very attractive. The appearance is not much different from the standard leather seats. Good luck with your purchase.

Yes, the fit & finish of the premium interiors are the same from the P85D to the S85. Next gen seats are not yet available in the S85.

Aroundview monitor should have been included with the hardware changes for autopilot. It's good that Model S has sonar, but it would be even better to be able to see obstacles around the car, especially when parking. Guidance lines would also be a big help.

Has anyone found the answer yet as to whether these new dome light bulbs can be swapped out? This is the only change I don't like on the new deliveries. The dome lights have been changed from about 6000k to about 2700k. The domes definitely don't match with the interior accent lighting now...

They have started delivering first gen rear seats with the taller headrests as well (same height as the next gen seats). As you can see in the pic posted by Marc, the rear seats sill fold flat with plenty of space.

Congrats Marc! Car looks great and I definitely want to see the video. For the cruise control, a light tap up or down increases/decreases the speed by 1mph. Full tap up or down increases/decreases speed by 5mph.
