Just back from a nice trip to the Lake District. Narrow lanes so using the command ‘fold in mirrors’. By the 8th shout, still nothing, finally works about 5 mins after you needed to fold mirrors. Elon needs to have a chat with Jeff. Alexa is 1000x better.

Just popping up to say that having had my Model Y since Feb, the feeling of a 2 hour free charge in Tesco’s is awesome. Yes, yes, I know I paid circa £55k but a fiver worth of free power still feels good….. 🤣

Not sure if this is allowed but seriously considering selling my MY. Love most things but not the suspension, too firm for Surrey roads. It has become a deal breaker for me. Do we have a classifieds area? Not looking for profit just a sensible sale.

The guy that showed me how to take it on and off said that the model 3 comes with most of the parts behind the plastic cover but the model Y does not. So I expect you will need to pay the £1300 if you just want to use the tow bar for a bike rack.

Had the tow bar fitted today. Dropped it off in Crawley at 9.30 and it was done by 11.30. You get a nice case for the lockable tow bar that is fitted by removing the plastic cover and pushing into place. Big difference coming from a X3 to the Y3 but quickly got used to it and the cameras rear and both sides rear make it easier. ‘Trust the tech’ 😉

It’s not helped by Elon saying that he can see the FSD mode being as good as a human by the end of this year and that was a low bar (I.e as good as a human isn’t good enough), but totally agree it’s not just Tesla.

Just cruise control, no auto steer or lane change magic. Simple stuff that my X3 managed fine. My wife said that she would not be using cruise until that’s fixed, but seems like it is a know issue for a long time!

In Southampton and look what I found…. (pictures hard to take due to very close wire fencing). Looks like the partially covered terminal will help with the rain for collections. 😁

I had to travel down to Southampton yesterday to avoid possible train disruption today, if the wind calms down later this afternoon I will try and sneak a peek at what is going on down at the port….
